Hi Trey :) Thanks a lot for sparing the time to answer a few questions for us and our readers. We promise not to keep you for long, as we know how busy you are with the preparations for the next tour. The truth is that we are extremely excited for Devil’s Lair's World Tour. We will be finally able to see you live in Europe. And trust us, you will love the European fans ;) (And we would be able to fangirl as much as our hearts desire, because damn… this man is pantie melting HOT). So, here we go…

LIOS: We know that you are a self-thought guitar player. How difficult was it for you to teach yourself?
Trey: It wasn’t difficult once I got the basics down. It became an obsession, an outlet to channel my energy.

LIOS: What music influenced your style and which are your favorite bands/musicians (old school and current)?
Trey: When I was growing up it was classic rock bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Stones, The Who. The older I got the more I appreciated all kinds of rock. My fav is Devil’s Lair. Our shit rocks. Besides us, Linkin’ Park, Every Avenue, We Came As Romans, and My Darkest Days are also my favs.

LIOS: What’s the one thing you never did but you always wanted to do?
Trey: I’ve done everything I’ve wanted. I’m into immediate gratification.

LIOS: How did the craziest night of your life look like?
Trey: I’ve had many crazy nights. The one that stands out the most is the night we closed our tour at The Garden. You’ll have to read the book for details.

LIOS: We know that you’ve done some pretty crazy things in your past. But tell us about the craziest thing a groupie ever did to get close to you?
Trey: I’ve seen all kinds of crazy shit. One chick flashed me while I was performing. I’ve gotten bras, thongs, even condoms thrown at me with phone numbers on them.

LIOS: We know that the band loves to play in NY, so we are not gonna ask you that :D Which is the one city that you haven’t played yet, but you are dying to?
Trey: London. It’s the birthplace of some iconic rockers that I admire greatly.

LIOS: If you have to pick one song to describe your feelings and your relationship with Tara, which song it is going to be?
Trey: A.M. put it to a trailer. Say Something is a pretty good depiction of our relationship.

LIOS: What is your favorite pastime activity?
Trey: **smiling*** Need I say it out loud?

LIOS: What is your favorite food?
Trey: Burgers

LIOS: Tell us one thing that people don’t know about you.
Trey: One? My lists goes on and on. Here’s one I can reveal. I’m a Leo.

LIOS: Ok. We are pretty much done :) How does the perfect romantic night look like? Is it a fancy restaurant with pre-meditated program or is it an impromptu dinner at home and after that cuddling on the sofa? Or do you have something else in mind?
Trey: The best romance to be had is a night in my bedroom. No need for outside influences.

LIOS: This is the end. We promise ;) Tell something to all your European fans that are dying to meet you :)
Trey: Bring bail money.

Well, that was a lot of fun :) We can't wait to see Devil's Lair on European soil and we, the fans, have to show them how crazy we can be :D. We definitely have to be more creative in cathcing Trey's attention because no matter the consequences, it will be worth it :D It's been quite a while since we've seen such a hottie on the rock stage ;) And DAMN... Tara is one lucky lady. Going to bed with that walking orgasm every single night is definitely something we envy her a lot ;)

Hot, intense, enchanting, intriguing, heartbreaking...

These are simply few words of the thousands that are passing through my head while trying to describe this amazing book.

I love rock star romance and The Back-up Series by A.M. Madden is one of my favorite. Up till yesterday Jack Lair was also my favorite rock star bad boy and number one BBF. Well, all that changed once I started reading Backstage. We all know Trey Taylor as the bad boy bass player who looks like he doesn't have a care in the world, the loner, the outsider in the band, the guy who doesn't care much about the world around him and changes his one night stands faster than you can blink. Well, your opinion of him will be forever changed once you start reading his story.
This book had me in tears after the first few pages. I feel obliged to say that it is not often that a book can make me cry. With that said, I was crying for most of this one. The story is so heartbreaking. I always expected that there was something dark in Trey's past but I never expected what was so masterfully revealed on the pages. The anguish and pain he feels during the book felt so real that I had to stop every now and then to catch my breath. My eyes are tearing even now when I remember all the demons Trey had to fight for his happiness.

The truth is that I wouldn't change a word in this story. It is fast paced and there isn't even a single line that is boring or anything of the sort. It kept me on my toes all the time and it is definitely intriguing. I loved the darker note of the story because it completely fits with Trey's personality from the other books in the series. At the same time there are some lighthearted moments and some extremely hot once who bring a nice balance to the heartbreaking and anguishing once.

Backstage definitely became my favorite book from The Back-up Series and I think it always will be. There was just something about Trey and his story that really touched my heart. Combined with the great way the book was written, and I have to say that it will be really difficult to find another book to compete with this one. It is just that good. And Trey will be forever tattooed on my heart ;)
