Release Blitz, Trailer & Giveaway: Bad Boss (Unprofessional Bad Boys #2) by Clarissa Wild

Title: Bad Boss
Series: Unprofessional Bad Boys #2
Author: Clarissa Wild
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Cover Design: Booming Covers
Release Date: July 19th, 2017

Synopsis:
What do men want more than anything? Money and women.

As the CEO of one of the biggest companies in the city, I am one lucky man.

Everyone wants a taste of what I’ve got to offer, and it’s massive. Girls fight over me in droves.

In my fantasy, of course. I had to make some sacrifices to get to the top.

To protect myself and the company, I always have to hide my dirty little secret…

I’m a panty sniffer.

What? A man has needs. Mine are just a bit more… outrageous. Instead of dating, I hoard panties.

Except it’s about to blow up in my face.

Why?

Because a beautiful girl just showed up for a job interview … the same girl I just bought a pair of panties from anonymously…

And what do I do?

I let my junk do the thinking, and hire her as my intern.

Author’s note: Don’t take it too hard, it’s just a book, not a big D. But this guy does have one. I’m not kidding. His schlong is huge and his ego is too, so beware. And as always … if you don’t like slapstick jokes and corny romance, don’t bother to read.

Excerpt:

I close twitter and go about my business, but my conversation with that girl keeps haunting me. When I check in a few hours later, she’s already sent me the tracking code. A package filled with sweet, sexy panties is on the way.

And I can’t stop myself from immediately using her email to search for her online. Is it sneaky? Yes. But I’m too obsessed to listen to that little voice in my head telling me I’m wrong for doing this. I just wanna find out who she is. Where she’s at. What she looks like. What her favorite movies and books are. What she likes to eat for breakfast.

It doesn’t take me long to find it either.

Somehow, on an obscure website, her old email address still lingers, where she mentions switching over to a new, anonymous one. So I use the old email to find her Facebook profile and bam … I’ve got a hit in minutes.

Not too bad for some half-assed detective work.

Guess she didn’t think about covering her tracks. Or maybe she just thought no one would be interested enough to find out.

But oh boy, when I find her pictures … real pictures … I’m smitten.

A pretty face hides underneath soft, blonde hair, the perfect flush on her cheeks. Her smile … so damn bright, it could light the room. And her curves … ouch, they’re so hot that I’m on fire from just looking at her.

Beautiful is an understatement.

I’m flabbergasted. Just blown away that a girl like her … sells panties to online strangers.

Who’d have thought?

Damn, I’m seriously impressed. When I look through her pictures of her drinking and partying with friends, but also hard at work on her laptop, I get the sense that she’s someone who lives out loud and loves life.

And that look in her eyes makes me choke up.

Goddamn, TJ, keep it together.

I click away from her pictures and back to her profile, still not capable of stopping myself from snooping. In her posts she talks about her classes and the work she’s doing with her ‘secret’ new business. And then there’s a post about her job application, and how she just sent it in with Morrows.

My company.

My inbox bleeps.

I click on the notification and stare at the email in complete shock.

It’s her.
Panty girl, applying for an internship at my company.
A grin slowly spreads on my face.
This is going to be interesting.

Release Date: July 21, 2017

Blurb
I’m that guy.

Camilla Landry rustles against me, the silky fabric of her overpriced lingerie slipping along my bruised rib. The porcelain perfection of her skin is even more innocent against the colorful ink dotting my own. It’s demure meets damage, pampered meets punctured.

So, yeah, it’s obvious I’m that guy. Dominic Hughes. Her attempt at rebellion. Her bid to see what the other side of the tracks feel like. I’m okay with being used because, from where I’m sitting, the other side of the tracks have never looked so good.

Excerpt

He’s standing in the doorway, one hand on the sweatpants that hang just below his chiseled hips and the other leans on the frame. The tattoos that mark his flesh are vivid against his bare skin, making the blues of his eyes shine.
He flashes a lopsided smile my way. “Took you long enough.”
“I don’t drive like a bat out of hell,” I laugh, stepping past him. “Did you shower already?”
“Yeah. I smelled like gym floors.”
“As long as you don’t smell like gym whores,” I say, setting the bags on the table in the kitchen.
His laugh is contagious and I feel myself smiling. A set of arms cage me in from behind, grasping the table on both sides of me. My skin breaks out in a shiver as his lips find the sensitive spot behind my ear.
His face buries in the crook of my neck and he takes a long, leisurely breath. “You smell so good.”
“Keep doing that,” I say, relaxing my head onto his chest.
“What?”
“Talking with your mouth against me.”
“You like this?” he asks all breathily so that each word whispers across my skin.
My eyes fall closed as I relish in this moment of nothing but him. “No, I love this.”
“Can I tell you a little secret?”
“As long as you keep talking, you can tell me whatever you want.”
He chuckles, dotting kisses up and down my neck. “I love this too, feeling your body give up the fight of the day and let me take over.” He turns me in his arms so I’m facing him. “I love that you trust me enough to let your shoulders sink out of that perfect posture you walk around with.”
As he reaches up and undoes the elastic in my hair, I watch his features soften. He moves carefully, unwrapping the tie from the twisted mess in my locks, careful not to pull.
“There,” he says, cupping the back of my head through my long tresses, “that’s better.”
“You don’t like my hair up?”
“Not like you had it. You look to lunching-y,” he says, wrinkling his nose.
“Lunching-y?”
“Yes,” he grins.
“You are too cute.”
“You are too fucking sexy.”
Reaching up, I swipe the pad of my thumb over the cut above his eye. He flinches, but just for a second. “What happened?”
“Bond’s right hand.”
“I hate him.”
“So do I,” he snickers.
“Let’s get some ice for it.”
He leans in, his brows tugging together. “Let’s not.” His eyes hood as he takes me in, his tongue darting out and wetting his lips. My knees weaken, my body humming with delight at his reaction.
“I want to take care of you,” I whisper, although that’s really on the backburner now. “Let me baby you.”
Instead, he lifts me up and places me on the table. My stomach clenches as he positions himself between my thighs, my sundress curling at my waist. I ring my legs around him, pulling him so close that the soft cotton of his sweatpants rubs against my opening.
He looks down. “You aren’t wearing panties.”

Wooo, what a book!

First of all, I love the Landry family! Can I be adopted by them? They are everything a big family should be: protective, loving, supportive of each other... and don't let us forget, a pain in the ass sometimes!
I loved every interaction between the Landry members, both the funny and light ones and the tense and discussing ones. Every family has its ups and down, obviously, and I loved to see every moment of this big amazing family.

And now, let's talk about Camilla and Dominic. We finally get to meet the mysterious boyfriend of Camilla, and oh boy, what a boyfriend he is!
I loved him, simple as this. Dominic can appear rough and tough, but he has a heart of gold and he's a great guy. Life hasn't been easy for him, it had dealt a bad hand of cards, but he grew up with strong principles and as a guy to admire. His family, though little, is very important to him.
He struggles really much in his relationship with Camilla, mainly because of the difference between their lives and the places where they grew up, but I understood him. His uncertainty about their relationship is due also to the fact that he wants the best for her, and he is not sure he is that.

Camilla is really a loving woman, nurturing, with a big and kind heart. Even though she has been sheltered her own life, thanks to Dominic she starts to stand up for herself and for her relationship with him. I liked that she changed and grew up as a person in this book, but that she kept her values right on top.

I have to admit that I would have liked to know a little more about their relationship before the strains and stress put by their different background, when it was still light and fun. But I also appreciated to know how they managed to overcome obstacles that in the beginning seemed insuperable.

To finish, I really liked this book, and the cherry on the top was getting to know what happens to the others Landry men and their women!
I can't wait for Sienna's story!

Release Day Blitz: Getting a Grip by M.E. Carter

Title: Getting A Grip
A #MyNewLife Novel
Author: M.E. Carter
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: July 18, 2017

Blurb

This isn’t my life. Okay, it is my life, but not the way I envisioned it would be.

I wasn’t supposed to be a divorced mother of three when I turned the big 4-0.  Sure, I expected the fine lines, gray hairs and left over baby belly.  What I didn’t expect was expanding our family get-togethers by one… my ex-husband’s new child bride.  Ok, ok, she’s not young.  Maybe.

Did I mention this is not the life I planned?

It could always be worse, I know. I’m lucky to have a mother who loves to babysit, a best friend who loves sarcasm, and a new friend by the name of Greg, who is apparently a child whisperer and tells me my eyes are pretty.

Sigh… Greg.

The perfect, Adonis-like God of a man who keeps flirting with me. At least I think he’s flirting with me. It’s been so long, I don’t really know.

Between birthday parties, a few ill-advised bouts with make-up, and a whole slew of gymnastics classes, it’s finally time to take back some control.

So, while my girls learn all about how to grip the bar, I’m going to learn how to get a grip on my life.  And maybe my heart.

Author Bio

Mother, reader, storytellerME Carter never set out to write books. But when a friend practically forced a copy of Twilight into her hands, the love of the written word she had lost as a child was rekindled. With a story always rolling around in her head, it should come as no surprise that she finally started putting them on paper. She lives in Texas with her four children, Mary, Elizabeth, Carter and Bug, who sadly was born long after her pen name was created, and will probably need extensive therapy because of it.

Review
Ohhh, such a lovely read!
If I have to be honest, it took me some time to really lose myself in this book, because I couldn't connect with Elena and Greg as a couple in the beginning, but in the second half... wooo, I was totally sucked in!

The first thing I want to say is that this book is real. I'm not a mum, but I think all the readers will be able to recognise themselves in one or more issues addressed in this book. I felt like Elena and Greg could be everyone's neighbours, with their virtues and vices, with their personal problems and everyday difficulties to face.

Elena is the example of a woman who after her divorce needs to rediscover herself, pulling out from her ex husband's grip, and finding again who she is and her own worth.
She is helped in this by her BFF Callie and Greg, such a great man (she's sooooo lucky she met him, I want a Greg too!).
I loved the interaction between those three! They are a great trio, really open with each others, and they have so much fun together!
Callie is a great friend, and she's such a blast! She's also really supportive of Elena. And her child... OMG! Such a nightmare but also so much fun to read about :P
And Elena and Greg... well, as I said, it took me some time to warm up to the idea of them together, but when I did, I realised that these two were perfect together. They understand each other, and encourage and support one another.

In the second half of the book there are two twists in the plot that I didn't expect, but I really liked them. The first one is an issue that I never found in a book, quite rare to hear talking about actually, so it was really interesting to see how Elena and Greg managed to address it. And the second one broke my heart a little bit, but I know (well, I hope) that M.E. Carter will make it whole again:P

Last thing that I want to say is that this was a really funny read, with witty dialogues and hilarious scenes (usually involving Christopher, Callie's son) :P
