Synopsis:

Can first love turn into the real deal in a sizzling new Fool's Gold story from New York Times bestselling author Susan Mallery?

Isabel Beebe thinks she's cursed in the romance department. Her teenage crush, Ford Hendrix, ignored all her letters. Her husband left her for another...man. So Isabel has come home to dust off her passion for fashion and run the family bridal shop until her parents are ready to sell it. Then she'll pursue her real dreams. At least, that's the plan, until sexy, charming Ford returns and leaves her feeling fourteen all over again....

Seeing Isabel all grown up hits bodyguard trainer Ford like a sucker punch. Back when heartbreak made him join the military, her sweet letters kept him sane. Now he can't take his eyes—or his lips—off her. The man who gave up on love has a reason to stay in Fool's Gold forever—if three little words can convince Isabel to do the same....

My Review:
This is not my first Susan Mallery book and to be honest, it is also not the first time I read it :) Three Little Words is one of my all time favorite Susan Mallery works. There is just something in the characters that just pulls me in every single time I reread the story. The book is intriguing and in a big way it is a sweet romance with just a pinch of hotness about two people that were always meant to be together.

I just love Ford and Isabell. Isabell is strong and independent and in a big way she tries to portray how hard she can be. But the truth is, that she has a soft center. She feels deeply and can be hurt severely by the people closest to her. And there's always been only one man for her. Since she was 14 years old even if she thought that that was just a teenage crush. But let's be honest, who won't fall head over heels for Ford Hendrix. He is enigmatic and broody and he is also alpha and domineering. But similarly to Isabell, he has a hart of gold, and that heart has been given away to the one woman that is his other half many years ago. Even if he doesn't realise it himself. I think Ford was actually one of my very first BBFs. The one BBF that started my love for military characters. And who can blame me :D He is simply delicious :D

In addition to Isabell and Ford's story, the thing I really enjoyed was Kent and Consuelo's relationship. I just loved those two. Even though, at a first glance they are very different, with a more thorough look you can see how they fir together like two pieces of a puzzle. One of the things I loved the most, was the scene where Kent tries to protect her. And yes, Consuelo doesn't need protection but with his act, he shows that he simply wants to take care of her and treat her with the respect and love she deserves.

Of course, if you've read the other books in the Fool's Gold series, you get to see those characters too. So don't worry about it :D But my recommendation is to read the book because of Ford and Isabell. It is definitely worth it ;)

As I mentioned before, this is not the first time I read this book. But I think that this is an amazing story and everyone should read it. So if you are in the mood for a sweet romance with just a pinch of hotness and a very yummy ex- Navy Seal, then you should definitely pick your copy. You won't regret it ;)
