Excerpt
Someone pressed himself against Michaela’s back, his hands twining around her stomach. She felt his lips on her neck, his breath in her ear. He said something, but Michaela couldn’t hear. Clark cocked an eyebrow at her and moved away slightly to dance with a petite girl in a fox costume. Michaela twisted in the man’s arms so that they were face to face. He was tall and lanky and definitely human. The pupils of his eyes were huge, dilated far beyond normal, and Michaela smelled the musky hint of drugs seeping from his mouth. His hands roamed over her body, groping her ass. There was no room to get away; the bodies in the middle of the floor were pressed so close together. For a moment, panic flooded through Michaela’s veins. Sure she could knock this guy out with one hit, but she didn’t want to bring attention to herself. She looked around, realizing that everyone was experiencing the same sort of free will she was. She had no clue how the human girls dealt with this sort of invasion. In her distraction, she didn’t realize the man in front of her was about to kiss her until the second before his lips smashed into hers. Immediately, his tongue pressed into her mouth, forcing her lips to part. His tangy salvia pooled at the back of her throat and gagged her. His hand slid up her side to fist around her breast. In that appalling moment, Michaela realized two things. The first being that Gabriel, who was very new to the whole sex thing, was very, very good at the sex thing. And the second being…Gabriel. He stood in all his tall, dark glory behind the man sucking on Michaela’s tongue. Lifting his hand as if he was going to tap on the man’s shoulder and ask to cut in, Gabriel pressed a finger onto on the man’s shoulder, making him instantly sag to the floor. Gabriel pressed harder into the pressure point on the guy’s neck until he was nearly on the floor and completely disengaged from Michaela. It was quiet and efficient. Gabriel righted the man and set him aside before he made too much of a scene. In the mass of pulsing bodies and underneath the flashing storm of rainbow lights, it was unnoticeable. The man moved away, slightly stunned and confused, but without a backwards glance. Michaela shrugged sheepishly at Gabriel’s blank stare. Only because she was looking at his mouth was she able to read his lips as he spoke. “Don’t kiss anyone else.”

Better When He´s Bad Blog Tour + Giveaway

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jay Crownover returns with a heart-stopping new series… Welcome to the Point.
There’s a difference between a bad boy and a boy who’s bad . . . meet Shane Baxter.
Sexy, dark, and dangerous, Bax isn’t just from the wrong side of the tracks, he is the wrong side of the tracks. A criminal, a thug, and a brawler, he’s the master of bad choices, until one such choice landed him in prison for five years. Now Bax is out and looking for answers, and he doesn’t care what he has to do or who he has to hurt to get them. But there’s a new player in the game, and she’s much too innocent, much too soft…and standing directly in his way.
Dovie Pryce knows all about living a hard life and the tough choices that come with it. She’s always tried to be good, tried to help others, and tried not to let the darkness pull her down. But the streets are fighting back, things have gone from bad to worse, and the only person who can help her is the scariest, sexiest, most complicated ex-con The Point has ever produced.
Bax terrifies her, awakening feelings she never thought she’d have for a guy like him. But it doesn’t take Dovie long to realize . . . some boys are just better when they’re bad.
EXCERPT:

“So you wanted to call me, which means you didn’t?”
“Dovie, I only ever call chicks to hook up, not to chitchat, so yeah, I didn’t call you because I wanted to.”
She giggled a little because I ran one of my hands down her front and circled her belly button with my index finger. I wanted to lick it and put my mouth on every inch of her, but I had to work on getting her as naked as I was first, and it seemed like all she wanted to do was catch up.
“You didn’t want to hook up?”
She actually sounded concerned. I groaned and grabbed one of her hands that was still on my chest and wrapped it around the erection standing like a pillar between us.
“What do you think?”
She pulled her bottom lip between her teeth and I groaned again. She was killing me with all her innocent seduction. “I don’t want to want this, Bax.”
Her voice was just a whisper of sound as I popped open the button on her jeans and got a hand under the waist of her panties. I raised both my eyebrows at her, because as she said it, she started to move her hand up and down the straining length of my cock.
“I was going to let you study. I was on my way to the shower.” She whimpered when my finger hit its target, and she lifted up a little on her knees to give me better access. She bent over so she could put her mouth on mine. I let her use those full lips and that clever tongue to kiss me until I was ready to roll her on her back and shove into her, whether she was ready for me or not. Between the soft glide of her hand up and down, and the pull and drag of her mouth over mine, this was bound to be over before she realized what she started. She pulled up and I immediately attached my mouth to the tip of her breast. I rolled the little pebble of pleasure across my tongue while she continued to work me over with her delicate touch.
“It was going to happen anyway. I almost jumped you in the car when you picked me up from school. I hate it. You make me feel out of control.”
Her words were punctuated with a squeeze at the base of my dick that made me grunt in surprise. I needed to get her pants off and get inside of her, like yesterday.
“Being out of control isn’t always a bad thing.” I tried to lift her up and off of me but the couch was narrow and she refused to let my erection go. I was pinned under her and captivated by those moss- colored eyes. She suddenly climbed to her feet and let me go. I thought she was going to shimmy out of her baggy jeans and climb back on my lap so we could get down to business and I could make her forget all about not wanting to want this, but instead she dropped to her knees in front of me.

The book that I am waiting is :

Title: The Last Changeling (Faerie Revolutions #1)
Author: Chelsea Pitcher
Release Date: November 8th 2014
Synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Taylor’s given up on happiness. He’s just trying to survive. Haunted by his brother’s death and pushed around at school, he spends his days searching for a quiet moment of peace, until he meets Elora. The enigmatic runaway gives him a hope he’s never had—the hope of truly connecting with another human being.

But the daughter of the Unseelie Queen has different plans for Taylor. Born into a world of corruption and war, Elora is determined to free her people from her mother’s tyranny. If she can gain the allegiance of the Seelie Queen, her mother’s loathed enemy, she and her rebels can crush the Dark Court and bring equality to Faerie. But to do that, she’ll need a proper offering . . .

A human.

To steal a mortal, Elora must become a mortal—at least, by all appearances. And infiltrating Taylor’s high school is surprisingly easy. But as she becomes entangled in his world, Elora realizes something startling: inequality in the human world isn’t so different from inequality in Faerie. Students are bullied, ostracized and attacked for being different. And just like she did in Faerie, she begins gathering up the outcasts, encouraging them to take back the school. Now Elora has two rebellions on her hands: a quickly mounting mutiny in Faerie, and a mortal uprising inspired by the boy she’s destined to betray.

Blog Tour: Second Chance by Natasha Preston

By: Natasha Preston
Release Date: June 10, 2014
Genre: New Adult/Romance
Synopsis
Everyone deserves a second chance at happiness, and three years after Chloe Holland's boyfriend dies in a bomb attack in London, she's ready to move on. That is until the one person she can see her moving forward with is the worst person she could have ever imagined.
Logan Scott was the one Chloe turned to when Jace died, but she never imagined that becoming close to him would leave her with the biggest dilemma she could ever face. He makes her question everything. She makes him a better person. They push the limit of right and wrong.
Unfortunately, Chloe and Logan are perfect for each other.

My Review:
I was a bit wary about this book when I first read the synopsis because Logan falls in love with Chloe who was his little brother´s girlfriend. But Natasha made me feel the doubts, the remorse and the hope of falling in love when and whom you least expect. The what if... I can have a second chance at love?
I felt in love with Logan almost from the very beginning, it took me sometime to like Chloe, but it was mainly because I was jealous that she had the chance to being with Logan. I have a serious jealousy problem with my book boyfriends xD

The writing is as always sublime, I felt every feeling. The dual POV gave the story a point of realism, we get to see both sides. And there is a clear distinction in the tone and style depending on which character is speaking.
I am used to read Natasha´s books and I was aware that everyhting was going kind of too smothly for her style but I really wasn´t expecting that twist at the end. It left me spechless.

Second Chance is a story about the struggles of falling in love after the loss of a loved one. It is a book about the hope of believing again. And most importantly, it is a story about getting a second chance in life.

About The Author
UK native Natasha Preston grew up in small villages and towns. She discovered her love of writing when she stumbled across an amateur writing site and uploaded her first story and hasn't looked back since. She enjoys writing NA romance, thrillers, gritty YA and the occasional serial killer.

Excerpt
Against everything my body was screaming for, I put my hands on his chest and pushed him away. My fingers gripped his shirt as I put some distance between us, not really wanting to let go. I wanted to cry. He could crush me in a second. Not even Jace could do that. He looked devastated as he let go of my arms. Fear gripped me by the throat. I wasn't just scared of how I felt about Logan; I was outright terrified. "I need… time. I don't know." Not time, that wouldn't help. I didn't know what I needed, but I definitely needed something. He stroked my cheek and my heart stuttered. "No more time." "Why are you doing this, Logan?" "Why?" His eyes lost their tenderness. "Seriously, why? How blind can you be? I fucking love you, Chloe!"

TTT Books That Will Be In My Beach Bag This Summer

So this is my Top Seven books that will be in my beach bag this summer. Not 10, I know, but I am kind of a slow reader, aiming for ten was just too much :D

1.
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. To start the summer with, already loving it.

2. Doll Parts by Wayne Simmons. Recently bought it, no idea what it is exactly about but seems creepy :D

3. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It has been on my list long enough, need to read it!

4. Long Way Down by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman. Looks like the perfect travel book, especially if you love Ewan McGregor! (like I do)

5. The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien. I read the Fellowship this year and need to go on.

6. The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton. One of the first books I bought in English, still on my reading list :S

7. Nunca digas nunca by Amy Lab. Technically it was in my last summer's beach bag (got it for my birthday in July), definitely reading it this summer!
