Title: Once Upon a Wild Fling
Series: Heartbreakers #3
Author: Lauren Blakely
Release Date: October 8th, 2018

Synopsis:
My brother's best friend has a proposition for me. Have I mentioned he's a sexy single dad? Tell me more...

There are a million reasons why Miles Hart isn't the man I should date but allow me to enumerate the top three. He's friends with my brother, he's a single dad, and he's a sexy, in-demand rock star. He might as well wear an off-limits, totally unavailable, and don't-even-attempt-to-ride-this-ride sign.

Then he asks me to be his plus-one when his band plays at his high school reunion, and the night unfolds in ways I never expect.

***

I have three good reasons to keep my hands off Roxy Sterling--her brother's my business manager and good buddy, my kid is the center of my world, and the last time I fell hard for a woman I was burned so badly that my interest in relationships has gone up in flames. But once I bring Roxy's body next to mine on the dance floor, I want all the not-safe-for-work things I can't have with her. So I make a proposition.

Then I learn exactly how risky we might be.

Excerpt:

Roxy

I find Miles behind a stage that has probably witnessed high school graduations, speeches, and musicals. His eyes take a leisurely stroll up and down my body. The way he stares, every zone in my body feels erogenous. Especially the boob zone, where he spends more time than usual.

When he slides his gaze up to my face, he looks hypnotized, then he shakes it off and brings me in for a hug. “So glad you’re here, Rox. Now go enjoy the show, and I’ll find you the second we’re done.”

Once it starts, I do enjoy the show. I never saw the Heartbreakers in concert when they were in their heyday. I’ve never been a concert person. Not that I’m opposed to music, but my mother set a precedent when I was in the eighth grade and my friends had a chance to see P!nk perform. I asked her if I could go, but the next day I had to take the prep school entrance exam, so the answer was no.

“It’s a better use of your time to stay in and study,” she’d said.

That’s what I mostly did in high school, listening to music on the radio as I worked through math problems and wrote essays on the Vietnam War. The Heartbreakers kept me company that way. Later, when Miles became a solo artist, I’d find myself humming his tunes when I heard them play in Starbucks, or while riding the escalator at Bed Bath & Beyond.

I became a fan, but I’m not a fangirl like some of the others here tonight. I don’t just mean the women. The Heartbreakers have fanboys and fangirls, singing along, belting out tunes. They’re crowding the stage, and the security guards hired when the Heartbreakers were confirmed for the event are standing on alert, arms crossed. Fortunately, there are no bras or panties thrown at the stage, nor briefs or belts either. I’m glad Miles’s high school class is full of fans but not crazy groupies.

The music reverberates in the gymnasium as the trio of gorgeous brothers sings love songs and fun songs and sexy songs while disco balls twirl from the ceiling and strobe lights flash.

When the set nears the end and they dive into one of Miles’s most popular solo tunes, a love song called “Today,” I swear his eyes find mine in the crowd as he sings about yesterdays and tomorrows. The way he sings turns the tingles into sparks, and I’m feeling it now for sure—that click, click, click of my heart, or maybe it’s my hormones.

Whatever it is, my breath comes faster as I dance.

When the show ends and the band thanks the crowd, that’s my cue to find him backstage. He’s sweaty, and I’ve never found sweat so sexy before. He drapes an arm around me, drops a kiss to my cheek, and says, “Hey, sexy bodyguard.”

My voice is a little breathier than I expect as I reply, “Reporting for duty.”

My Review:
I loved the previous two books in the series but if I have to be honest, I think this one was my favorite. There was just something about Roxy and Miller that made it that much more intriguing. And it didn't hurt that Ben was a complete sweetheart and melted my heart from the very start.

From the very first book in the series, I was intrigued by Miller. I suppose part of it was that it was never explained why he was a single father and to be fair he wasn't around that much. So of course, when I got my hands on Once Upon a Wild Fling, I was super excited. And I wasn't disappointed. The reason for Miller being a single father is heartbreaking. And adding to that Roxy's bad experience in the dating pool, makes this story that much better. It is still a rom com and trust me, it will really make you laugh but it will also make you feel deeply about the characters. And when you add to that the cutie that Ben is, I can guarantee that you will be a goner.

In a few words, this is a really fun and romantic story about a super sweet and sexy single dad with a dirty mouth and a girl who gave up on the male population. So don't think twice and #1click Once Upon a Wild Fling. You won't regret it :D

My Review:
I've read quite a few of Lauren Blakely's books and I've enjoyed all of them. Some of them I liked and some of them I loved. With this book, I am kind of torn. There were parts of it that I liked and there were parts of it that I loved. So I can't really decide which way I want to go. Ultimately, this is a second chance story but I would say, not the conventional one where the characters had a huge falling out when they first split up. Here, it is more of a mutual agreement. I would even describe it in a way as friends to lovers.

Andrew and Holland were two intriguing characters. I found the interactions between the two characters quite interesting and the chemistry and feelings between them are palpable. With that said, there were moments in the book where I felt, there was something missing in their story. I still can't figure out what it was but it made the story go a little bit slow for me. Somehow, I couldn't really feel the pain Andrew was feeling. I knew about it I didn't really relate to it. But the parts where my heart got broken and that I loved, were actually Andrew's memories of his brother. The way both Holland and Andrew were recalling certain times spent with Ian, just broke my heart. And when you add Kana's, I was a blubbering mess.

So that's why, I am a little bit torn about this story. I hope I managed to express clearly my still tangled feeling about Unbreak My Heart. In any case, I would recommend every book lover to check it out. I think you would enjoy it.

Blog Tour, Review & Giveaway: Three Blind Dates (Dating By Numbers #1) by Meghan Quinn

Title: Three Blind Dates
Series: Dating By Numbers #1
Author: Meghan Quinn
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: January 4th,2018

Synopsis:
"Good Morning Malibu, it’s another beautiful day on the west coast! I'm Noely Clark, your host: and I'm in the market for love…” When the publicity team of the new local restaurant, Going in Blind, began their search for a hot, local celebrity to promote the wildly popular eatery, they couldn’t have found a better person than me.

Outgoing? Check.

Single? Check.

Open to finding love? Check.

I signed up immediately.

A hopeless romantic with an exceedingly demanding schedule, I've found it impossible to find the man of my dreams—so Going in Blind seems too good to be true! That’s until they start setting me up on dates—three very different, very attractive, very distinct blind dates—and only one thing is for certain . . .

I’m in big trouble.

Good Morning Malibu,
I'm Noely Clark, and I have a choice to make.
The question is who will I choose; the suit, the rebel, or the jock

Excerpt:

I didn’t realize how close I was to the restaurant because I’m ten minutes early. Does that make me seem desperate? No, I chastise myself. It shows that I respect the other person’s time . . . right?

God, dating is the worst. There are so many unspoken rules you have to follow to not look desperate, or to not look like a psycho, or a creep, or horny, or—

“Can I help you, miss?”

Straightening up, I turn toward the hostess stand, which is a beautifully carved piece of wood. Standing behind it is an exotic, tall woman with long black hair, stunning grey eyes, and a massive engagement ring on her hand. Please tell me she got that rock from dating someone in this program.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s not that happiness for my life is dependent on getting married, but to see a success story in the flesh—particularly for me—would be encouraging.

“Hi, yes, I’m Noely Clark. I have a date at seven tonight with”—I lean forward, feeling silly and whisper—“with WindsorKnot.”

Her smile is kind and reassuring, making me feel a little calmer. “Yes, Miss Clark, I have you here for seven. You’re date hasn’t arrived yet, so can I show you to the bar for a drink while you wait?”

“That would be lovely, thank you.”

With my clutch tucked under my arm, I follow tall, dark, and beautiful to the bar where a very handsome Asian man is standing with a towel draped over his shoulder and a bright grin on his face. He’s wearing a button-up shirt with rolled sleeves, a brown vest covering his chest, which totally channels his inner Justin Timberlake.

“Danny, this is Miss Clark. She has a reservation at seven. Would you be so kind to make her whatever drink she would like?”

“Of course.” He winks at the hostess who presses her warm hand on my arm.

“Enjoy, Miss Clark. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. My name is Veronica, this is Danny, and we will be happy to serve you in any way.” With a parting grin, she moves back to her hostess spot.

Well, she’s nice.

“Miss Clark, please take a seat. What would you like?”

My tight, formfitting red dress makes my hop onto the bar stool a difficult task, but with a pleading prayer to the dress gods and a swift jump, I situate myself, only breaking a minor sweat.

I let out a sigh of relief and place my hands on the bar in front of me, scanning the glitzy bottles of “muscle relaxant.” “Hmm . . . how about a Moscow Mule?”

“Coming right up.” He gets to work and I watch as he magically floats around the bar, pulling the ingredients. “We recently bought new copper mugs, and I’ve been dying to use them.”

“Yeah? Am I the first?”

Winking, he says, “You are.”

If I didn’t know any better, I would say Danny is a bit of a flirt. Either that or he’s super friendly. Or simply made to be a bartender.

From beneath the bar, Danny pulls out a shiny, hammered-copper mug, and I’m instantly taken by the design. So sleek, just like its surroundings. The restaurant, with its white exposed brick, natural wood features, electric colors, and stone tabletops, is sexy, yet inviting. The friendly waitstaff is an absolute bonus. Every table is cornered off in its own spot, never getting too close to the other tables around it, and the mood lighting is on point with dim Edison bulb lights hanging from the ceiling and tabletop candles. I’m feeling the mood.

Despite the welcoming atmosphere, I can’t help but feel nervous, even after my brief exchange with WindsorKnot. There’s something to say about a blind date: the anticipation, the unknown, the knowledge that you’re having dinner with someone to possibly form a romantic relationship. It’s intimidating, but exhilarating all at the same time.

Could this be the last time I ever go on a first date? Will he like me? Will he want to get to know me?

Butterflies float around in my stomach and my cheeks heat as Danny places a napkin in front of me, topped by my drink with a lime slice on the side.

“Here you go, Miss Clark. Please enjoy.”

I smile politely. “Thank you.” When I take a sip, I’m instantly assaulted by the ginger-lime combination. Perfect. “This is fantastic.”

“Good.” Danny winks again and like an old-time bartender, starts drying a tumbler with the towel hanging over his shoulder. Eyeing me for a second, he asks, “A little nervous?”

After taking a sip from my drink, I lick my lips and nod. “Just a little.” I scrunch my nose, squinting ever so slightly. “Is it obvious?”

“Nah, you look pretty chill compared to a lot of blind daters I see come through the door.”

“Oh, I’m sure you see a lot of different reactions to these dates.” I lean forward, the cold wood of the bar cooling my sweaty hands, and whisper, “Any good stories you can tell me?”

Danny chuckles quietly and leans forward himself, taking a look from side to side before answering. “Plenty, but looks like your date just arrived.”

My date just arrived?

The temperature in the room seems to go up a thousand degrees as my body seizes and my shoulders tense. “Oh God, can you see him? Is he hot? What does he look like? Should I turn around? No, I shouldn’t, he would know I was checking him out.” Whispering a little louder, I ask again, “Just tell me, is he cute?”

Danny’s eyes scan over my head and his smile stretches across his face. “That’s for you to judge, not me.” Damn you, Danny.

Oh Christ, I’m not ready.

That’s right, I’m not freaking ready for this.

I get it, I know I said I was ready, that I wanted to do this, that I was all-in, that I wanted to find my soul mate, but now that I’m here, seconds from meeting “the one,” I’m pretty sure I’m going to throw up. Yep, I’m going to throw up. I can feel it rising.

Oh God, I’m going to retch all over him, right on his shoes. I know it. It’s bound to happen.

“Relax, you’re going to have fun,” Danny whispers before he turns to the bottles behind him.

As if the light hairs on my arm can sense it, they stand at attention as the sound of faint footsteps come closer.

Click, click, click. The cement floor leaves zero room for sneaking up on anyone.

Don’t throw up, don’t throw up. Think compliments, think pleasantries, think—

“Hello.”

Smooth molasses drips over my shoulders as the most velvet of voices I’ve ever heard echoes behind me, pulling me away from the death grip on my copper mug and turning me in my seat to face one of the most handsome and polished men I’ve ever seen.

About the Author:

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

My Review:
I am still not very familiar with Meghan Quinn's work as this is only my second book of hers. But I can honestly say that I loved reading both of them. And I laughed a lot :D Three Little Words is a romantic, funny and definitely HOT. Though, there is some heartbreak here and there, it is nothing series and I can guarantee that you are going to laugh your heart out with Noely and the ridiculous situations she ends up with. And of course, in the end your heart will melt with her finding her HEA.

To be honest, I expected the story to go in a slightly different way based on a short story published in the Team Player Anthology. That's not to say, I was disappointed. I was actually rooting form the start for the guy that won Noely's heart. And I would've been disappointed if he wasn't the one.

But honestly, each one of the three guys has his own swoon worthy personality and I can assure you that each one of them will either melt your heart or leave you breathless, or both :D I had quite the hard time picking my favorite and I am not sure that I managed that. It is just so hard. The Suit has this intense brooding gaze that can mesmerise you leave you breathless. And let's not forget that he can be an utter romantic. Yes, not exactly the thing you would expect from a corporate shark, but that just made him even more endearing. The Rebel is a heart throb in his own right. He is the ultimate sinful bad boy. He is HOT, wild and let's just say that the things he can do on his motorcycle will definitely get your motor running. And last, but definitely not least, let's talk about the Jock. He might be famous and he might be a jock, but let me tell you, he is definitely not what you would expect from one. He has a heart of gold and definitely knows how to treat a lady. Even when she is slightly inebriated :D I would've never expected that a quiet night at home is what he dreams about. So, I can guarantee that he will make your heart swoon. but let's not forget that delicious body of his ;)

As a whole, I will definitely recommend the book. Especially if you are looking for something fun and relaxing to read. And let's not forget HOT ;) As for me, I can't wait to get my hands on the next two books in the series ;)

Excerpt:
“Kale.” It was a murmur.

Praise.

A spark.

Because his mouth crashed against mine.

His arms wound around my waist, and he pulled me into his apartment.

He kicked the door shut behind us without breaking the kiss.

Hot hands explored. Gliding down my back. Palming my bottom. Roaming up my sides.

A moan rippled up my throat, and his tongue swept into my mouth, tangling with mine.

Needy and desperate.

Overpowering.

Overwhelming.

My head spun, and I was suddenly in his arms.

My legs wrapped around his narrow waist.

Second nature.

Exactly where I belonged.

“Hope,” he mumbled at my mouth as he carried me through his massive, open loft.

The floors echoed with his heavy footsteps as they thudded across the worn, dark planks and toward the massive leather couch set up in the middle of the living space.

Pure masculine style and impeccable taste with the need for comfort at the root of it all.

Just like the man.

Setting me down on the dark cushions, he dropped to his knees on the plush white rug.

Expression predatory.

No doubt, he was preparing to devour and destroy.

He palmed my knees. The simple contact made me arch and gasp.

“It’s getting harder and harder to resist you,” he murmured, voice scrapping and raw.

“Then why are you trying?”

Our First American Signing: Love ' N ' Vegas and a BIG Giveaway :D

Hey Everyone,

If you follow the blog, you know that together with my co-blogger Azahara, we came back for our first American signing just under a month ago. The one and only Love ' N ' Vegas 2017. As you can imagine, we were super excited. For one, we were meeting some of our favorite authors for the very first time. And come on, people. It's VEGAS!!! Of course, the whole trip was a huge adventure. We were in Las Vegas for 10 days and we did so many things that I am struggling to remember all the crazy things we did. I am hoping you would want to hear all about it, because you won't be able to escape :D

I have to say, the craziest thing we did was to go on the Voodoo Zip Line at the Rio Hotel. I don't think I will ever repeat it, but it was definitely an experience :D I mean zip lining from the 51st floor towards the next building and back in a seat without handles and only with a belt around your middle is not exactly my idea of fun but now I can tick it off on my bucket list :D And the view from up there was simply spectacular.

I can honestly say that Las Vegas is definitely a place everyone should visit at least ones. From the incredible hotels, to the number of shows and possibilities for all kinds of fun, it is a destination worth putting on your bucket list. Think about it. You can be in Paris, Rome, New York, Venice or even ancient Egypt all at the same time. You just have to visit the different hotels to experience the beauty of the different corners of the world. And the fun doesn't stop there ;)

The Madame Tussaud's museum was definitely fun even if it was somewhat small. But where else can I take a picture with Brad or Channing :D But for me, the most intriguing part of Las Vegas weren't the hotels or museums (even though they are magnificent and the historical facts you can learn are definitely intriguing). For me, the biggest treasure of Las Vegas are actually the shows. There is something for every taste.

You can go to a concert and watch live some of your favorite singers, you can go to a comedy show and laugh until there are tears in your eyes. Of course if you are in the mood for something more Vegas like, there are multiple variate and burlesque shows to choose from. And if you are not in the mood for any of those, you can definitely enjoy a Cirque Du Solei program that will leave you breathless with the beauty it presents. And if by any chance (OK, let's not kid ourselves, this is a must), you are in the mood for some fun with your girlfriends, be sure to check Magic Mike LIVE. I can guarantee you won't regret that. It will be everything you expect it to be and so much more. I haven't had that much fun in a really long time. And it doesn't hurt that those guys are gorgeous and definitely know how to more ;)

Apart from all the fun I had, Azahara and I also made some new friends. Marie-Josee, Rebecca and Christine are three amazing ladies that I hope I will see again soon. We had so much fun with them, discussing books, sharing stories and sight seeing that I will do my best to keep in touch with them. And hopefully, see them at a signing next year or something of the sort ;) I know I am seeing Marie-Josee for sure at #RARE London 2019 which is definitely going to be fun. And now if I can manage to convince Rebecca and Christine to come to Rome, it will be great :D

But I think I am seriously veering off topic :D I am supposed to talk about Love ' N ' Vegas :D And I have to say, I definitely enjoyed myself. It was different from the signings I've been before, but that doesn't mean that it was less fun :) But it was definitely crazy :D I don't think I've ever run that much at a signing ;) But I did manage to meet everyone on my must see list, which is always great :D

My first stop, was the lovely Freya Barker. If you haven't read her books, they are simply a must. She is incredible in writing heartfelt romances that can tear your heart to pieces and after that little by little, put it back together. I remember when I first met her two years ago. It was at another signing and I reviewed one of her books for the blog. I was devoted fan after that book. It was just impossible not to fall in love with the characters and Freya's writing style. since then I've read pretty much everything she's published and I got my hands on few signed books to add to my collection. I still have couple of more to to add so I have each and every one but I will wait for that until next year when she visits UK (because transporting a huge amount of books over the Atlantic is definitely a pain :D)

I also had the chance to meet the amazing Melanie Harlow. She's been one of my favorite authors for years and it was like a dream come true to finally meet her in person. Of course that meant buying every book she's ever published (on that note, she might hate me after having to sign 10-11 books for me :D ). But considering it is nearly impossible to see her in Europe, I didn't have any other choice. I do hope she visits soon though. I would love the chance to meet her again. And if she can bring Dima with her, even better. I had a blast talking with both of them while Melanie was signing all my books. As you can imagine, it took awhile :D

Of course I couldn't miss the opportunity to pass by and say hi to Aurora Rose Reynolds. I love her books and even though I am going to see in London in just a few months, there was no way I was missing taking a picture with her :) (and buying some books :D). She was also one of our Book Oscar winners for last year, so I was planning to give her her Oscar ornament but me being me, I misplaced it somewhere. Hopefully, I will find it before London ;) And who knows, she might have to receive another one by then :D

But I must say, I think I was most excited to meet Jasinda and Jack Wilder. Those two are just amazing. So nice and down to earth. I remember when I first read Falling Into You. It shredded me to pieces. And I think that might have been the first book that made me ugly cry. But it was so worth it. and it is still one of my favorite books. So, of course, I couldn't miss the opportunity to get myself a signed copy of it. I mean, I am a bookworm with the chance to get a signed copy of one of her favorite books. No way missing that :D

Of course there were many more authors that I loved meeting. some of them new faces, some of them I've met before. But I highlight for me was meeting the amazing Corinne Michaels. I couldn't of course get all the books I wanted signed by her but thankfully, she is coming to Rome so I am safe :D I had the chance to spent couple of minutes talking with her about books, the blog and many more things and I can honestly say that she is incredible. I can't wait to see her again next summer <3

Here are some more pictures from the signing with Cambria Hebert, Adriana Locke, Brooke Blaine and of course Rachel Van Dyken :) Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get many more pictures. But I did manage to talk a little bit with Meghan March and tell her that the Mount Trilogy is an incredible series and one of my favorite reads in a really long time <3

Of course, I've met many more amazing authors during the signing but unfortunately, I can't post about all of them on this post. So to everyone who is not on this post, I would like to say that you all have a special place in my heart and the memories will stay with me forever :) Hope to see you soon again.
