“It is not love that defines us, Julietta. It is love that destroys us.”

I’m just a normal girl.
Or so you would think.
I’ve never thought of myself as anything different.
Until I met him.
He doesn’t think I’m normal.
He thinks I’m special.
Special enough to be in his life.
Special enough to enter his world.
Special enough for his bed.
Rafael Lencioni. Dangerous. Beautiful. Terrifying.
My story is the one that’s never told.
I’m not the daughter.
I’m not the wife.
I’m not a sister or a mother.
I'm not his enemy and I'm not his friend.
I’m not who you think I am.
So for me to fit into their world, I have to do something I never wanted in my life.
Something I would have frowned upon until I met him.
I have to change who I am.
I have to shut down my heart.
I have to accept my place.
My body belongs to him.
My heart isn’t permitted to.
Those are his rules.
But rules were made to be broken…right?

My Review:
So I am not a big fan of cheating and I usually avoid books like that. But there was just something in the synopsis of this Bella Jewel book that intrigued me and made me read it. And, damn, am I glad I decided to read it. The story is filled with danger, suspense, unexpected twists and HOT, HOT, HOT scenes. The characters are well developed and charismatic and I can promise you that you will probably have times that you hate them, but ultimately you will fall in love with them and root for their HEA.

Julietta is a lovely character. She is sweet and sassy, cute and free spirited, and she is Rafael's perfect match. Unfortunately, their relationship is not exactly an easy one. And in their case, not all rules are meant to be broken. At least at this point of their lives. And breaking them means danger and a lot of heartbreak.

But for me, the more interesting character is Rafael. On one side, he is incredibly hot with incredible body, hair that you simply want to run your hands through, eyes that will mesmerise you, and voice that "you want to hear when he's between your legs, f**king you so hard you can't breath". On the other hand, he is the kind of man that can snap another in two with the click of his fingers. Power and control radiates off him and at times he can be quite terrifying, even without raising his voice. In the eyes of people, he is soulless, ruthless, a monster. For him and in his world, feelings are a weakness. But something changes once he meets Julietta. And with every passing second, she gets under his skin more and more. Until in the end he realises that he cannot live without her and will move heaven and earth to keep her safe.

Unfortunately, Julietta and Rafael's relationship is not an easy one. Danger and betrayal are following them everywhere they go. Secrets and lies nearly destroy them and create a distance between them that can cost them everything. The truth is that I am dying to find out what will happen next. And for that I will have to wait for a few weeks as Amore, Part 1 ends in a clifie. But don't waste any time. You need to read this mafia romance. So get your #oneclick finger ready and pick up your copy ;)
