New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Jennifer Probst sparks a blissful mind-body connection as her “sexy, satisfying” (Kirkus Reviews) new series continues!
She’s an expert in helping others de-stress, but Arilyn Meadows is running on fumes. Along with her job counseling singles seeking soul mates at the Kinnections agency in Verily, New York, she’s a yoga teacher, animal shelter volunteer, anger management therapist, and helping hand to her beloved grandfather. No time to find Mr. Right—but after discovering her yogi boyfriend in a compromising asana, Arilyn would rather dog-sit for her honeymooning friend Kate than risk her heart on another downward dog. And when police officer Stone Petty—radiating masculinity and bad-boy attitude—is sent to her for mandatory lessons in cooling off when the job gets too hot, Arilyn vows to ignore his seductive glances and sexy grin. But there’s no halting their sizzling flirtation—a red-hot, high-speed chase that’s breaking all the limits.

I love Jennifer Probst's writing and the Searching For series is on of my favorite. So, of course, I was extremely happy to get my hands on an early copy of this amazing book :) The story flows like a charm and it is so interesting and sweet that I simply couldn't put it down :) The characters are intriguing as always and the writing is superb. Not that there is anything else that could be expected by Jennifer Probst :)
Stone is quite the hot lead character. With his rough looks, domineering behavior, protective alpha tendencies and uniform, I don't think there will be a woman who won't salivate after him. He is also broken. The demons he carries with him, chase him in the dark and do not leave him rest. Which considering the tragedy he lived through as kid, it is more than understandable. But he also carries guilt on his shoulders, which is actually not the right place for it. All that just makes him that much more pantie melting. And when you add also his dirty mouth and his ability to burn the sheets with his exploits he is quite close to perfect ;)
Add to that his complete opposite. Or in other words Arilyn and you have an explosive combination :D Where he is intense and brooding, she is relaxed and free spirited. Or at least she tries to be until one too many things go wrong in her life. And for some reason the only person who can give her back her spark of life is the one who also pushes all her buttons, the one and only Officer Stone Petty. I have to say that their constant bickering results in some quite funny scenes. And when that doesn't happen, the resulting hot scenes are simply breathtaking ;)
So in a few words, this is definitely a recommended summer read :) The story is fun, hot and intriguing. It has romance and tenderness, cleverly intertwined with humor and heartbreak. And it is so entertaining that you won't even feel the time passing ;) So just a gentle warning. Don't start reading if you don't have a lot of time. You will simply be late :D So just get your #oneclick finger working and start reading :D
