My Review:
The third and final book in the Dark Pleasures series was definitely not a disappointment.It was captivating and entertaining from the first page. The writing was incredibly good as in the previous parts and I loved getting to know the characters even better as they were developed even deeper.Mal is still his pantie melting self that will leave breathless during some of the amazingly hot scenes. But he is even more fearless and determined to protect the woman he loves. He once more shows his loyalty to his friends and brothers in arm but he never even for a second gives up on the fight to save Christina :)
I definitely loved that Christina continued to gain more and more strength and little by little developed her own skills and made them stronger. It was definitely interesting to see how she becomes more and more herself, gains her memories but at the same time she still carries a part of Jamie and all her other past lives.
I enjoyed seeing her becoming a part of the team and fighting her own battles even though she is scared to death. I have to say that I enjoyed the most the last battle when Christina find the strength in herself to fight really on her own and and to defend the man she loves.In a few words, I loved this final part :) It's fascinating and intriguing, filled with fast paced action and masterfully contrasted with romantic, tender and hot moments between the two main characters :) As a whole, the entire series is a page turner. With the smart combination of a sci-fi elements with romantic story, the reader is captivated from the beginning. All characters are easy to connect to and I definite want to read more about them :) In my opinion this is a must read series and if you haven't started it yet, then you definitely have to exercise your #oneclick finger and purchase all three parts :)
