I set down my champagne flute, untouched, and waited, my arms folded across my chest.

I didn’t know why I was so worked up, maybe because the whole topic was a sore spot. Maybe because even though he hadn’t given the speech yet, I knew it was coming eventually. I didn’t fit into the traditional world with my viewpoints about happily-ever-afters. I already knew that.

Or, maybe I was worked up because people rarely believed it about me when I told them. They always thought that I was lying to them or lying to myself, but I really didn’t want what society believed I should want in the way they thought I should want it, and I didn’t want to have to argue about it with Nate, because I did truly like him. And I didn’t want to have this conflict. But liking him didn’t mean I wanted to give up who I was just to make him happy.

Instead of talking it to death and arguing my side, it was easier just to go. Get it over with. I could cut the ties now before I liked him even more. Before the string didn’t just tug me back from the clouds, but let all the air out of me, too.

I rushed out into the lobby, assuming he’d let me go, but he followed. And really, that’s what I probably should have expected. He’d already proven he was the kind of guy that chased. Shoe or not, Nate Charming liked his fairytale kink.

And I’d just performed the most cliché move of all for a sexed-up Cinderella—I’d run from the freaking ball.

My Review:

Damn! This was good. It was sinful, dirty, filthy and scorching HOT!

I love Laurelin Paige books so it is not a surprise that I jumped at the opportunity to get my hands on it. I was familiar with the characters from previous books, so I was definitely intrigued to read their story. And Nathan and Trish definitely delivered on everything the title promised.

Everything between Trish and Nathen starts as a secret, taboo, a one night stand. But with every moment spent together things change little by little. Trish has scars from her past that prevent her from really giving herself to Nathen body and soul. But Nathen is determined and manages to enter through the cracks in the wall arpund her heart. And manages to show her that he is different than other man. That he can give her the freedom she desires and the scorching encounters in bed she needs.

There is only one thing that would've made this story better for me and that is to have more background story on both characters. But as this is a short story, it is quite understandable. I do need more of Nathen and Trish 😉 There are also some sneak peaks of other characters which is definitely a bonus :D

As a whole, this is a short and scorching hot story that every fan of the Fixed series and the Dirty Filthy Series simply must read. so don't waste your time and pre-order your copy asap. as for me I can't wait to get my next fix of the Dirty Filthy series as soon as possible :D

My Review:

I have just two words for you: SINFULLY GOOD!!!

I don't know how else to explain how good this story is. It is dirty, it is filthy, it is rich, and it is definitely LOVE. It delivers everything that the title promises and so much more. There is heartbreak, romance, danger, hotness and one super sexy alpha with secrets and desires that will make you melt :) Just keep in mind that this is not a standalone and you have to read dirty Filthy Rich Man first.

Donovan and Sabrina's story is not easy and definitely not conventional. Their past ties them together but there are secrets and tragedies that may tear them, even though the chemistry between them is combustible and their feelings for each other are true and deep. With every secret that's revealed, there is another lurking around the corner. But even though the revelations are sometimes painful, sometimes intriguing and sometimes even hot, Donovan and Sabrina manage to overcome them and build an even stronger relationship. Until faith throw them both a curve ball that might destroy them both.

I can honestly say that there were so many unexpected surprises in this story. I was glued to my seat from the very start and couldn't put my kindle down until the very last word. Part of it was Donovan's hotness. He is one extremely delicious dominant alpha male and is on top of my BBF list. It just can't get any better than him :D But another part was the suspense, the fast paced story and the intriguing and unexpected story. In short, I loved every single word and Donovan was my bonus :D

So yes, I do recommend this book. It is definitely one of my favorite reads for this year. Just keep in mind that you need to read Dirty Filthy Rich Man first. One thing I would really love though, is to get the full story from Donovan's POV. That would be really amazing. And of course I need the stories of all the second characters :D I hope any of that comes soon because I am craving my next fix already :D
