Release Blitz, Review: Call Her Mine (Harmony Pointe #1) by Melissa Foster

Title: Call Her Mine
Series: Harmony Pointe #1
Author: Melissa Foster
Release Date: August 13th, 2019

Synopsis:

Two besties and a baby make for an instafamily and a surprising romance in a delightful series by Melissa Foster, the New York Times bestselling author of the Sugar Lake novels.

Ben Dalton has always been honest, except where his heart is concerned. He’s been in love with his best friend—saucy, smart-mouthed Aurelia Stark—forever. But Ben’s a planner, and timing has never been on his side. When he finally decides to make his move, Aurelia beats him to the punch with a move of her own—to a different town.

Aurelia loves her new life in the charming town of Harmony Pointe. She has a great apartment and her very own bookstore, and best of all, the sinfully hot, commitment-phobic friend she’s crushed on for years is no longer just around the corner. Maybe she’ll finally be able to leave her unrequited love behind and move on.

But when a baby is left on Ben’s front porch—a baby that is presumably his—Aurelia is there for him. Neither one knows the first thing about babies, but how hard can it be? Ben and Aurelia are catapulted into a world of love, laughter, and tracking down the baby mama, and it might even add up to a very happily ever after… just not one either of them expects.

My Review:
It's been a while since I've read just a sweet romance without any suspense and danger in it. And I can't even remember when was the last time I read a Melissa Foster book. I love her writing style and her stories but at some point life just got in the way and I lost track. But I am so happy that I got the chance to read and review her latest book, Call Her Mine. This is a friends to lovers story with a little bit of heartbreak (but trust me, those few pages are going to make you tear up) and a sweet as a pie baby girl that will capture your heart from the very start.

Ben and Rels are two great characters. They've been friends forever and had feelings for each other for nearly as long but their timing has always been off and they both kept their feelings a secret from the other one. In a way, they are at an impasse and they both need a push in order to sort things out. Imagine that push coming in the form of an adorable baby girl left at Ben's doorstep. You can probably imagine the panic that overcomes Ben and the chaos that follows. The result of course is multiple funny situations and a baby daddy, so adorable that he can melt you your heart. But the situation also finally forces Ben to confront his feelings and reveal them to Aurelia. Of course, things are not hears and roses after that and there are more than one obstacles in their way: being a new parent and handling a new relationship and business on top of that, is definitely not a walk in the park.  The strength of Aurelia and Ben's relationship is tested on more than one occasion, but every single time they show that the love they have for each other and for baby Bea is more than enough to overcome everything thrown their way.

So, if you are looking for a sweet enemies to lovers story with a hint of heartbreak and a sprinkle of humor, look no further. This is the book for you. And if you've read some of Melissa's other series, you will get to revisit with some of your favorite characters as well. So don't waste any time and get your copy now :)
