My Review:
This was a second chance romance with a difference. It had heaps of heartbreak and angst, with a slight suspense and mystery running through and filled with some sweet moments too.

Well what can you say about the two main protagonists other than the fact that you wanted to bash their heads together at times. Dahlia I kind of got to a point, but Michael annoyed me lots. I got so confused with him because one min I hated him, because at times he seemed really childish, and then the next he said something so sweet it made you melt. They both had to work really hard to get their HEA and it was very sweet when they did. Their chemistry though was instantaneous and smoking!

The story was in two parts, one of which took us out of Hartwell and to Boston, but for me this didn't detract from the story because you kind of needed Dahlia's history to know why she was like the way she was. The second part of the story had us back in Hartwell and had that mystery/suspense element. I was gripped to both parts of the story because I had the feeling that Dahlia had some pretty deep secrets that she was hiding and although it took a while to uncover them, it all made sense when I got there.

Overall this was a good addition to the series and I am looking forward to hearing from new characters in this small town.
