Release Blitz & Review: The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister by Meghan Quinn

Title: The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister
Author: Meghan Quinn
Release Date: January 3rd, 2019

Synopsis:

How do you date your best friend's sister? Easy.

Step one: Pretend you want her to set you up with someone else. That will bring the two of you closer.

Step two: Go on date with lots of random women, proceed to get stupid drunk and talk about your best friend's sister, thus gaining the courage to finally make a move.

Step three: Randomly show up at her apartment and confess your love. Women love that, right?

It all seemed so simple. A fool-proof three step process that will guarantee the love of your life to fall madly in love with you.

At least - that's what I thought was going to happen. But my attempts to win over Julia Westin backfired in more ways than I can count. The thing about Julia? She's smart - really smart - and her wicked gaze cuts through all the charm I've tried slinging her way. She's not interested in games, my gifts, or my stories. She might want me too; but she's not giving in that easy...

My Review:
Meghan Quinn is one of my go to authors when I need a funny and lighthearted read. And this book is exactly that. Even if it has a little bit of heartbreak. To be fair though, the plot was definitely not what I expected. It was so much better. Ultimately, it is a beautiful and romantic story about finding your soulmate and showing them that you are meant for each other. No matter what science or everyone else says.

Bram and Julia are to very intriguing and well developed characters that got into my heart from the very start. I loved getting to know them through the story and I was rooting for them from the very start. I definitely enjoyed the background chapters from their time in college and that helped a lot in really understanding the characters and their behaviour and feelings. And to be honest Bram trying to seduce Julia, created some quite funny situations and quite a few scorching hot ones :D So be prepared.

Ultimately, this is a relaxing and funny read, perfect for those after holiday weeks when you just want to take it slow ;) As for me, I really hope that Meghan Quinn is going to release Rath and Roark's stories. I am sure they are going to be a blast as well :D
