Ahhhh, finally! "The Varlet and the Voyeur", the fourth book of the Rugby Series from Penny Reid and L.H. Cosway is available NOW!
Cover

He kept his salacious secret for years. But soon, everyone is going to be reading about it in their morning paper…

THE VARLET (and the VOYEUR)
William Moore is a long way from home. A farm boy from Oklahoma, he’s now the most well-respected member of the Irish rugby team. But appearances are often deceptive, and Will isn’t the clean-cut, all-American good-guy everyone imagines him to be. He’s got a secret, one that will tarnish his reputation forever.

THE VOYEUR (and the VARLET)
Josey Kavanagh is a self-proclaimed mess, but she’s finally get her shi…uh, act together. She’s set her sights on becoming a veterinarian, but there’s one teeny tiny road bump. Her living arrangements are coming to an abrupt end, leaving Josey homeless and in need of a job to pay her way through college.

THE PLAN
What he needs is a companion to keep him on the right path.
What she needs is an apartment with free rent.
Will is convinced Josey will make the perfect companion, since she’s brutally honest and basically ‘just one of the guys.’ Josey is convinced she can ensure Will doesn’t succumb to his voyeuristic proclivities by keeping a scrupulous eye on him.
Except, what happens when the varlet is tempted by the voyeur, and vice-versa?!
Perchance something very, very volatile. And vexing.
The Varlet and the Voyeur is a full-length romantic comedy novel, can be read as a standalone, and is the 4th(and last) book in the USA TODAY bestselling Rugby Series.

Review

Yesssss, a thousand times yes!
Absolutely loved this book <3
After I met Will and Josey in the previous book, I was really curious to see how such two different people could mesh together and make a good couple… But as everyone says, opposites attract!

Josey was such a breath of fresh air. In The Cad and The Co-ed there were some times where I really didn’t get her behaviour, but after reading her story, I now think she just have a big, kind heart and so much love to give to her family and friends. Josey has an amazingly open personality, no qualms at saying what she thinks, and I loved her for this.
Having such a particular personality was not always easy for her, because she didn’t really conform to the other people, but she really found her perfect match in Will.

Will is the total opposite of Josey… He is a great guy, but serious, quiet, with a life ruled by rules and order. We can say that his friendship with Josey is a lifesaver for him, the perfect girl in the right moment of his life.

Their friendship is for sure one of a kind, if we think about why they came together for the first time… But little by little they get to know each other, and really start to appreciate one another.

I loved how the story developed, it gave a real idea of how they both struggled in letting their fears go. Because yes, Will’s scars might have been the more obvious, but also Josey had her part of doubts, mainly because of her fear of not being accepted as she was.

One thing that I admired in both of them was the openness towards the diverse. Josey was so understanding regarding Will’s situation, while Will wasn’t scared by Josey strong and full of life personality.

As always, I loved the addition of some amazing secondary characters, who gave even more to the main story.

It was definitely a great read for me, and now I really hope we will get to now more about Broderick and Eloise…. never say never!
