Opinión: Lo que fue de ella está narrado desde el punto
de vista de Adam, lo que me encantó porque nos permite ver cómo fue para él
separarse de Mía tras el accidente y ver cómo es su vida de estrella de rock.
El tono de la narración es de furia y depresión, no está disfrutando de su
vida, no ha conseguido pasar página tras 3 años separados.
Me gustó más que la primera parte porque
desde el principio me encantó Adam y quería descubrir qué fue lo que pasó
después. Durante todo el libro estuve pegada al libro queriendo saber cómo
acababa porque en algunos momentos parecía que iba a ir todo bien y en otros
que todo iba a acabar mal. El estilo de narración alternando el presente y los
recuerdos del protagonista se mantiene en la continuación.
El tema de la música sigue siendo vital
en Lo que fue de ella, vemos el éxito de
la carrera de la banda de Adam, The Shooting Stars y el éxito de Mía como
solista clásica.
MI PERSONAJE FAVORITO: Adam, sin ninguna duda. Es
perfecto, pero no es de estos personajes que es tan perfecto que se nota que
son chicos imposibles. Adam es perfecto porque podría ser cualquier chico (exceptuando
que es una estrella del rock), es un personaje cercano en los que a veces te
olvidas que es sólo un personaje. Y sus sentimientos por Mía y su
vulnerabilidad me robaron el corazón.

Opinion:
Where
She Went is narrated by Adam´s point of view, which I
loved because it allowed us to see how he was their separation after Mia´s
accident and to see his life as a rock star. The narrative tone is full of
anger and depression because he does not like his life, he has failed to move
on after Mia´s accident.
I liked this book more than If I Stay because I loved Adam from the
very beginning and I wanted to discover what happened next. Throughout the
whole book I was glued to the book wanting to know how it would end because
sometimes it seemed that everything was going well and others that everything
was going to end badly. The narrative style alternates the present time with
Adam´s memories, as the author did in the first book.
Music is still vital in Where She Went, now we see the succeed of Adam´s rock band, The
Shooting Stars and also Mia´s successful career as a classical soloist.
MY
FAVOURITE CHARACTER: Undoubtedly is Adam. He is perfect but he is not
this kind of characters that seem
impossible to be real. Adam is perfect
because he could be any guy (except that he is a rock star), he is such a close
character that sometimes you forget he is just a book character. And his
feeling for Mia and his vulnerability stole my heart.
“You don’t share me. You own me.”
