The Boy Who Sneaks in My Bedroom Window(Kirsty Moseley)

Es un libro maravilloso, trata el tema de abusos sexuales y maltrato. Liam es perfecto, es un must have, si no lo habéis leído, hacedlo.

Heart On a Chain(Cindy C.Bennett)

- El tema principal es el maltrato, pero también hay bullying, es un libro un poco duro, pero merece la pena leerlo.

Nothing Left to Lose (Kirsty Moseley)

El principio de este libro, el cual todavía no está publicado, es muy duro, lloré un montón pero es uno de mis libros favoritos. Kirsty Moseley sabe tratar con este tipo de temas y a la vez hacer unos libros increíbles. Secuestro, violación, asesinatos, maltrato.

Silence (Natasha Preston)

Maltrato y abuso sexual. Es una historia muy bonita y la autora sabe tratar este tema desde una perspectiva muy profunda.

TRUE (Erin McCarthy)

Golpes, abuso de drogas. Está tratado de una forma un poco superficial, pero se palpa en el ambiente los problemas que los protagonistas tienen que pasar.

Dare You To ( Katie McGarry)

Violencia de género, abuso de drogas. Los protagonistas son increíbles, es un libro sobre la superación personal y la familia.

Rule (Jay Crownover)

Dolor por la muerte, sentimiento de culpa y problemas psicológicos son la base de este libro, pero están tratados como una sombra que se ciñe sobre los personajes.

The Sea of Tranquility (Katja Millay)

Desapariciones, enfrentarse a la pérdida de la familia, violencia. Es un libro muy bonito y profundo. La superación personal y el dejar atrás los miedos son imprescindibles en este libro.

Sophie &Carter (Chelsea Fine)

Problemas familiares, abandono paterno. La superación personal y la ayuda de los amigos son muy importantes en este libro.

Willow (Julia Hoban)

Auto maltrato, imposibilidad de superar la pérdida de la familia. Es una libro duro y difícil porque te mete dentro de la cabeza de la protagonista y a mí me resultó difícil simpatizar con ella.

Me acabo de dar cuenta de que muchos de mis libros favoritos están en esta lista. Y me pregunto si es que me gusta sufrir o qué.

The Boy Who Sneaks in My Bedroom Window(Kirsty Moseley)

It's a wonderful book, addresses the issue of sexual abuse and mistreatment. Liam is perfect, it is a must have, if you have not read it, do.

Heart On a Chain(Cindy C.Bennett)

- The main theme is the mistreatment, but there is also bullying, it is a little hard book, but worth reading.

Nothing Left to Lose (Kirsty Moseley)

The beginning of this book, which is not yet published, it is very hard, I cried a lot but it is one of my favorite books. Kirsty Moseley knows how to deal with such issues and also make some amazing books. Kidnapping, rape, murder, abuse.

Silence (Natasha Preston)

Child abuse and sexual abuse. It's a beautiful story and the author knows how to treat this issue from a very deep perspective.

TRUE (Erin McCarthy)

Beatings, abuse. It is treated in a somewhat superficial way, but it's in the atmosphere and in the problems that protagonists go through.

Dare You To ( Katie McGarry)

Violence, drug abuse. The characters are amazing, it's a book about personal growth and family.

Rule (Jay Crownover)

Pain for death, guilt and psychological problems are the basis of this book, but are treated as a shadow that meets on the characters.

The Sea of Tranquility (Katja Millay)

Disappearances, to face the loss of family, violence. This is an extremely nice and deep story. Personal improvement and to leave the fears behind are essential in this book.

Sophie &Carter (Chelsea Fine)

Family problems, parental neglect. The improvement and the help of friends are very important in this book.

Willow (Julia Hoban)

Self abuse, inability to overcome the loss of the family. It is a hard and difficult book because it gets inside the protagonist's head and I found difficult to sympathize with her.

I have just realize that a lot of my favourite books are in this list. And I have just been wondering if I just like to suffer a lot or what?

Sinopsis: Vivo en un mundo sin magia ni milagros. Un lugar donde no hay clarividentes o cambia formas,  ángeles o chicos sobrehumanos para salvarte. Un lugar donde la gente muere,  la música se desintegra y las cosas apestan. El peso de la realidad me atrae con tanta fuerza contra el suelo que algunos días me preguntó cómo estoy siendo capaz de levantar los pies al caminar.

La ex niña prodigio del piano Nastya Kashnikov quiere dos cosas:  terminar la escuela secundaria sin que nadie sepa sobre su pasado y hacer que el chico que tomó todo de ella, su identidad, su espíritu, su voluntad de vivir, pague.

La historia Josh Bennett no es ningún secreto: cada persona que ama ha sido sacada de su vida hasta que, a los diecisiete años de edad, no le queda nadie. Ahora lo único que quiere es estar solo y la gente lo permite porque cuando tu nombre es sinónimo de muerte, todo el mundo tiende a darte tu espacio.

Todo el mundo excepto Nastya, la misteriosa chica nueva en la escuela que comienza a aparecer y no se irá hasta que ella se haya infiltrado en todos los aspectos de su vida. Pero cuanto más se familiariza con ella, más  enigmática se vuelve. A medida que su relación se intensifica y las preguntas sin respuesta comienzan a acumularse, Josh empieza a preguntarse si alguna vez aprenderá los secretos que ha estado ocultando,o incluso si quiere.

The Sea of Tranquility es una historia rica, intensa y brillantemente imaginada sobre un chico solitario, una chica emocionalmente frágil, y el milagro de las una segundas oportunidades.

MI PERSONAJE FAVORITO: Drew, el mejor amigo de Josh, es mi personaje favorito. A pesar de su actitud despreocupada de ligón al que no le importa nadie más que él, es un amigo leal, que se preocupa por aquellos que le importan. Y evoluciona a lo largo del libro.

Opinión: Tuve la oportunidad de leer The Sea of Tranquility gracias a NetGalley, así que cogí el libro sin saber nada él, y debo decir que desde el primer párrafo me gustó.

Cuando acabe de leer este libro, necesité varios minutos para volver a la realidad. La historia de Nastya y Josh es tan increíble que me dejó abrazada al libro suspirando y con lagrimas en los ojos por haberse terminado, por todo el desarrollo de la historia y en general porque la autora ha sido capaz de crear una historia preciosa y plasmarla en un libro para que nosotros podamos disfrutarla como si estuviéramos dentro del libro.

La narrativa es muy fluida, el libro está narrado desde el punto de vista de Josh y Nastya. Me gustó especialmente porque hay mucho más en el libro que de lo que se ve en la sinopsis. Es uno de estos libros en los que lo que importa no es el final, si no como llegan los personajes hasta él, la historia dentro de la historia.

The Sea of Tranquility está lleno de diálogos divertidos, conmovedores, frases que te hacen reflexionar y pequeños detalles que hacen que la propia historia vaya adquiriendo un sentido más haya de lo que se lee a primera vista.

MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER: Drew, Josh's best friend, is my favorite character. Despite his carefree flirting attitude, who does not care about anyone but him, he is a loyal friend. And he develops through the book.

 Opinion: I had the opportunity to read The Sea of Tranquility through NetGalley, so I picked up the book without knowing anything about it, and I must say that from the first paragraph I liked it.

When I finished reading this book, I needed several minutes to return to reality. The story of Nastya and Josh is so incredible that left me hugging the book sighing and with tears in my eyes for having finished the book, for the development of the story and because the author has been able to create a beautiful story and turn it into a book so we can enjoy it like we were in the book.

The narrative is very fluid, the book is told from the point of view of Josh and Nastya. I especially liked that there is more in the book than what is seen at first sight in the synopsis. It is one of those books that what matters is not the end, but how the characters come to it, the story within the story.

The Sea of Tranquility is filled with funny and poignant dialogues, phrases that make you think, and little details that make the story itself wonderful. There is more than what is read at first sight.
