MI PERSONAJE FAVORITO:  Lena es mi personaje favorito, ya que es una de las pocas heroínas/ protagonistas que no odio ( tengo un grave caso de antecedentes en contra de las protagonistas de los libros, principalmente porque acaban quedándose con el chico, y yo no xD). La evolución de Lena a lo largo del libro es increíble, la autora ha hecho un muy buen trabajo con la evolución del personaje y con la representación de sus sentimientos. Es un personaje con el que te sientes fácilmente identificado.

Opinión: La primera vez que lo leí hace tres años, me enamoró. Fue mi primera distopía y debo decir que me encantó, no sólo la historia, los personajes, la narración fluida y la idea de vivir en un mundo sin amor. La evolución de los personajes a lo largo de la historia está muy bien planteada y la historia está tan bien estructurada que realmente crees que pueda existir un futuro como el que plantea la autora.

Es una serie que recomiendo encarecidamente y que además será llevada a la televisión.

MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER: Lena is my favorite character, because she is one of the few heroes / protagonists that I do not hate (I have a serious problem against the main girl protagonist of the books, mainly because they end up with the guy, and I do not xD). Lena´s  development  throughout the book is amazing, the author has done a very good job with the character's evolution and represents her feelings. She´s a character that you feel easily identified with.

Opinion: The first time I read it three years ago, I fell in love with the book. It was my first dystopia and I must say I loved it, not only the story, also the characters, the fluid narrative and the idea of ​​living in a world without love. The characters development throughout the story is very well depicted and the story is so well structured that you really believe that there may be a future like that the author raises.

It's a series that I highly recommend and it is also going to  be on  television.

Perfección de Scott Westerfeld (Juliet)

Sinopsis: La operación ha convertido a Tally en una perfecta más y ha anulado todos los recuerdos de su pasado. - Este libro lo llevo esperando desde hace 1 año, y llevo siguiendo esta serie de fantásticos y sexys vampiros desde los 14. La historia de amor entre Blay y Quinn *suspiro*, no se qué paso conmigo y los triángulos amorosos en los que salen 2 hombres super calientes y sexys.

- Este es uno de los pocos libros que no solamente quiero, si no que lo NECESITO! Por suerte sólo quedan 12 días!!!

- I've been waiting for this book 1 year, and I've been following this series of fantastic and sexy vampires since I was 14. The love story between Blay and Quinn *sights*, I do not know whats up with me and the love triangles between 2 hot sexy men.

- This is one of the few books that not only want,  I NEED it! Luckily there are only 12 more days of waiting!

Captain Hook

  Esta semana en Bad Boys Monday tenemos al malvado Capitán Garfio... pero una versión diferente a la del cuento infantil. Como podéis ver, el personaje no se parece mucho a lo que nos imaginábamos de pequeños cuando nos contaban el cuento de Peter Pan; esta es la versión de Garfio que podemos ver en la serie Érase una vez, interpretado por Colin O'Donoghue. Y sí, es distinto, pero... no nos importa :)

  Para quién no la conozca, Érase una vez es una serie que comenzó a finales de 2011, en la que podemos ver qué pasaría si los personajes de los cuentos de hadas vivieran en el mundo real. En bastantes ocasiones hemos visto que la serie retrata a algunos personajes de manera distinta a cómo todos pensábamos que eran, y esto es bastante patente en la figura de Garfio, quien no es descrito como un hombre tan joven... ni tan atractivo. Y sí, por eso nos gusta, y por eso lo metemos en la sección. 

  Normalmente no nos gustan tanto los 'malos' de las historias, mucho menos teniendo tantos príncipes encantadores en la serie, pero con él haremos una excepción. Porque la verdad es que el ser tan descarado y caradura le añade encanto al personaje. En esta versión del capitán vemos a un hombre astuto, provocador y bastante más heroico de lo que pensábamos, pero además, muy hábil con las mujeres. Y lo demuestra continuamente con mordaces comentarios destinados, en su mayor parte, a Emma, la protagonista de la serie.

  No sabemos qué pasará con este personaje en el futuro; si seguimos la idea de que el bien siempre debe ganar es posible que su final no sea muy esperanzador; al fin y al cabo, es uno de los malos y lo único que le mueve en la serie es su sed de venganza. Pero ciertamente nos daría pena que desapareciera ya que podríamos decir que el capitán es uno de esos personajes que son 'malos pero no del todo', lo único que busca es vengar la muerte de la mujer a la que quería. 

  Así que si os interesa ver la serie, sacan capítulo los domingos en USA, podéis verlos por internet en inglés. En España por ahora solo han emitido la primera temporada y este personaje aparece en la segunda, pero realmente ¡recomendamos ver la serie entera!

  This week in Bad Boys Monday, we have the evil Captain Hook... but a different version to the one in the children's book. As you can see, the character does not really remind us to the one we imagined when we were told the story of Peter Pan. This is the Hook that can be seen in the tv show Once Upon a Time, played by Colin O'Donoghue. And yes, it is different but... we don't mind :)

  For those who don't know it, Once Upon a Time is a show that started on 2011, in which we can see what would happen if fairytale characters lived in the real world. We have seen several times that the show portrays some characters in a different way to how we thought they were, and that is quite evident in the figure of Hook, who is not usually described as such a young and attractive man. And yeah, that is why we like it and why we have put in him in the section.

We don't usually like the 'baddies' of the stories that much, specially having so many charming princes in this show, but we'll make an exception with him. Because the truth is that being so insolent and shameless adds charm to the character. In this version of the captain we see a clever, provocative and heroic man, but who is also quite good with women. And he shows it constantly with witty remarks mostly aimed to Emma, the main character of the show.

We don't know what will happen to him in the future. If we believe the idea that Good will always win, its possible that his end won't be very pleasant; after all he's one of the bad ones, and the only thing that moves him is his thirst for revenge. But it would really be too bad if he disappeared because we can say that the captain is 'bad, but not really', he just wants to avenge the death of the women he used to love.

So, if you're interested in the show, they release an episode each Sunday in the USA. In Spain only the first season has been released, and this character doesn't appear until the second one. But we really recommend you to watch the whole show!

Pero cuando conoce a un chico llamado Fane, que cambia todo lo que ella siempre ha conocido y decide arriesgar todo para averiguar quién es ella realmente.

Llena de romance, aventura y misterio; Rapunzel Untangled es una historia que no querrás dejar. Descubre el verdadero significado del amor y de la amistad en este moderno giro del clásico cuento de hadas.

MI PERSONAJE FAVORITO: Rapunzel es mi personaje favorito porque es el personaje que más evoluciona a lo largo de la novela. Se la ve madurar a lo largo de la historia, y lo más importante en mi opinión es que es ella la que decide salir de su burbuja, no espera a que su príncipe llame a su puerta, si no que se atreve a dar el paso y lo busca.

Opinión: Rapunzel Untangled es un libro que me gustó desde que vi su sinopsis porque soy una aficionada de los cuentos de hadas y de sus versiones más modernas. A través de este libro realmente he conocido la historia tras el cuento de Rapunzel, ya que la única versión que conocía era la de Disney.

La relación entre Rapunzel y Fane es sorprendente y da muchas vueltas. La autora ha sabido crear una historia de amor con un mayor trasfondo que el del cuento original. La ambientación en el S.XXI aporta nuevos matices a esta fascinante historia sin dejar que la historia pierda su esencia de cuento de hadas. Lo único que no me gustó fue que Rapunzel no tuviera una mascota como Pascal (en la versión Disney), en esta tiene un pájaro, pero claro, yo ADORO al pequeño camaleón, así que mis expectativas en cuanto a su mascota eran muy elevadas.

El libro me encantó y se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo.

MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER: Rapunzel is my favorite character because she is the character that evolves the most throughout the novel. She looks mature throughout history, and most importantly in my opinion, is that she is the one who decides to leave her bubble, not waiting for her prince to come knocking at her door, if you dare to take the plunge and searches.

Opinion: Rapunzel Untangled is a book that I liked since I saw the synopsis because I'm a fan of fairy tales and its modern versions. Through this book  I really have known the true story behind the story of Rapunzel, since the only version I knew was the one from  Disney.

The relationship between Rapunzel and Fane is amazing and takes many turns. The author has managed to create a love story with more background than the original story. The atmosphere in the 21st century brings new nuances to this fascinating story without losing the essence of the fairytale. The only thing I did not like was that Rapunzel did not have a pet like Pascal (in the Disney version), in the book is a bird, but of course, I adore the little chameleon, so my expectations for the pet were very high.

I loved the book and I recommend it to everyone.
