Review

I really liked this book. Julia and Warren's story was everything I was hoping for. 

First of all, I loved the Christmas atmosphere that pervaded this book <3 Decorations, songs, even Christmas themed designer dresses... The perfect book to read two weeks before Christmas!

And regarding the main story, I was captivated by both Julia and Warren’s characters. Both of 1them are full grown adults with a very accomplished life. They have been friends and confidents for many years, so their relationship was already really solid at the beginning of the book. 

It was really interesting to see how they transitioned from their old relationship to their new one, from being only friends to being friends and lovers.

It was great to see how they supported each other. Yes, they clashed sometimes, they discussed, but they always had each other’s back regarding important issues. 

I was really happy to read more about Warren’s children! I love that family, and it is always a great moment to know more about all of them <3

Once Upon A Time in Wonderland

OUAT in Wonderland se estrenará en Estados Unidos el 10 de Octubre, aquí en España tendremos que esperar bastante más. Además de los 3 personajes principales Alice (Sophie Lowe), La Sota de corazones (Michael Socha) y Cyrus (Peter Gadiot), se incorporan 2 nuevos personajes:

Emma Rigby como la Reina Roja, no confundirla con Cora la Reina de Corazones en Erase Una Vez. Neveen Andrews como Jafar el malvado de la película Aladdin.
Estas son unas noticias fantásticas y ¡no puedo esperar para ver la serie!

OUAT in Wonderland premiering is October 10th in U.S.A, here in Spain we´ll have to wait for a long time.
Apart from the 3 main characters we told you about in April, Alice (Sophie Lowe), Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha) and Cyrus (Peter Gadiot, there are two new incorporations to the show:

Emma Rigby as the Red Queen do not mistake it with Cora the Queen of Hearts in OUAT. And Naveen Andrews as Jafar the villain from Aladdin!
These are very exciting news and I cannot wait to watch OUAT in Wonderland!

Once: Wonderland

Tengo noticias muy emocionantes para todos los fans de Erase una vez ( yo misma incluida). Va a ver un spinoff de la serie, Once: Wonderland!!. ¿Qué increíble es eso? Estoy super emocionada por la serie porque amo Erase una vez.

Once:Wonderland tiene lugar en El país de las Maravillas de antes de la maldición. La historia está narrada desde el punto de vista de Alice, que está rodeada de dos personajes principales, la Sota de Corazones un aventurero sardónico, un hombre de acción, un solitario y un rompe corazones; y el amor de Alice, Cyrus, rodeado de misterio.

Sería una serie de 13 episodios, con principio, medio y fin en una sola temporada. El rodaje está previsto que comience en abril en Vancouver para un episodio piloto y más tarde, en junio comenzará el rodaje de la serie.

Alice será protagonizada por Sophie Lowe, una actriz australiana nacida en Inglaterra.

La Sota de Corazones está protagonizada por Michael Socha, un actor Inglés.

Y Cyrus está protagonizada por Peter Gadiot, un actor británico.

I´ve got really exciting news for all the Once Upon a Time fans (myself included). There is going to be a spinoff of the series, Once: Wonderland!!! How awesome is that? I am super excited for the series since I love Once Upon a Time.

Once: Wonderland is set in pre-curse Wonderland. The story is told through the point of of view of Alice, who is surrounded by two major characters, The Knave of Hearts a sardonic adventurer, a man of action, a loner and a heart-breaker; Cyrus Alice’s love interest with a background shrouded in mystery.

It would be a 13 episode series, with a beginning, middle and end all in one season. The filming is set to begin in April in Vancuver for a pilot episode and later in June will start the filming of the series.

Alice will be starred by Sophie Lowe is an English-born Australian actress.

The Knave of Hearts is starred by Michael Socha, an English actor.

Cyrus is starred by Peter Gadiot, a British actor.

New cast news for Delirium

Ya tenemos nuevas incorporaciones para el episodio piloto de Delirium, Erin Cahill y Brenda Koo.

Erin Cahill interpretará a la hermana de Lena, Rachel, pero todavía no se sabe se mantendrá el nombre de Rachel y lo cambiarán.

Brenda Koo es una de las sorpresas más importantes para la trama de la serie ya que encarnará a un nuevo personaje que no aparece en los libros. Ren es la mejor amiga de Alex, aunque sus sentimientos van más allá de la amistad, además de que es un miembro clave en la Resistencia.

We have new cast additions for the pilot episode of Delirium, Erin Cahill and Brenda Koo.

Erin Cahill will play Lena's sister, Rachel,but ir is not yet known if they will keep the name of Rachel or change it.

Brenda Koo is one of the major surprises to the plot of the show as she will play a new character that do not appear in the books. Ren is Alex's best friend, but her feelings go beyond friendship, and she is a key member of the Resistance.

Captain Hook

  Esta semana en Bad Boys Monday tenemos al malvado Capitán Garfio... pero una versión diferente a la del cuento infantil. Como podéis ver, el personaje no se parece mucho a lo que nos imaginábamos de pequeños cuando nos contaban el cuento de Peter Pan; esta es la versión de Garfio que podemos ver en la serie Érase una vez, interpretado por Colin O'Donoghue. Y sí, es distinto, pero... no nos importa :)

  Para quién no la conozca, Érase una vez es una serie que comenzó a finales de 2011, en la que podemos ver qué pasaría si los personajes de los cuentos de hadas vivieran en el mundo real. En bastantes ocasiones hemos visto que la serie retrata a algunos personajes de manera distinta a cómo todos pensábamos que eran, y esto es bastante patente en la figura de Garfio, quien no es descrito como un hombre tan joven... ni tan atractivo. Y sí, por eso nos gusta, y por eso lo metemos en la sección. 

  Normalmente no nos gustan tanto los 'malos' de las historias, mucho menos teniendo tantos príncipes encantadores en la serie, pero con él haremos una excepción. Porque la verdad es que el ser tan descarado y caradura le añade encanto al personaje. En esta versión del capitán vemos a un hombre astuto, provocador y bastante más heroico de lo que pensábamos, pero además, muy hábil con las mujeres. Y lo demuestra continuamente con mordaces comentarios destinados, en su mayor parte, a Emma, la protagonista de la serie.

  No sabemos qué pasará con este personaje en el futuro; si seguimos la idea de que el bien siempre debe ganar es posible que su final no sea muy esperanzador; al fin y al cabo, es uno de los malos y lo único que le mueve en la serie es su sed de venganza. Pero ciertamente nos daría pena que desapareciera ya que podríamos decir que el capitán es uno de esos personajes que son 'malos pero no del todo', lo único que busca es vengar la muerte de la mujer a la que quería. 

  Así que si os interesa ver la serie, sacan capítulo los domingos en USA, podéis verlos por internet en inglés. En España por ahora solo han emitido la primera temporada y este personaje aparece en la segunda, pero realmente ¡recomendamos ver la serie entera!

  This week in Bad Boys Monday, we have the evil Captain Hook... but a different version to the one in the children's book. As you can see, the character does not really remind us to the one we imagined when we were told the story of Peter Pan. This is the Hook that can be seen in the tv show Once Upon a Time, played by Colin O'Donoghue. And yes, it is different but... we don't mind :)

  For those who don't know it, Once Upon a Time is a show that started on 2011, in which we can see what would happen if fairytale characters lived in the real world. We have seen several times that the show portrays some characters in a different way to how we thought they were, and that is quite evident in the figure of Hook, who is not usually described as such a young and attractive man. And yeah, that is why we like it and why we have put in him in the section.

We don't usually like the 'baddies' of the stories that much, specially having so many charming princes in this show, but we'll make an exception with him. Because the truth is that being so insolent and shameless adds charm to the character. In this version of the captain we see a clever, provocative and heroic man, but who is also quite good with women. And he shows it constantly with witty remarks mostly aimed to Emma, the main character of the show.

We don't know what will happen to him in the future. If we believe the idea that Good will always win, its possible that his end won't be very pleasant; after all he's one of the bad ones, and the only thing that moves him is his thirst for revenge. But it would really be too bad if he disappeared because we can say that the captain is 'bad, but not really', he just wants to avenge the death of the women he used to love.

So, if you're interested in the show, they release an episode each Sunday in the USA. In Spain only the first season has been released, and this character doesn't appear until the second one. But we really recommend you to watch the whole show!

Delirium Countdown- TV Series

¡Sólo queda 1 semana para Requiem!, estoy súper emocionada por saber el final de esta fantástica serie, que ocupa un lugar especial en mi lista de libros por ser la primera distopia que leí. Para hacer la cuenta atrás más amena he decidido dedicar estos últimos 7 días de espera a actualizar el blog con novedades, reseñas y citas sobre Delirium. ¡Espero que disfrutéis!

Para todos aquellos que no lo sepan, FOX Network ha decidido hacer un episodio piloto de Delirum, así que pronto veremos esta fantástica historia en la pequeña pantalla y...ya tiene a los protagonistas!!

We are just 1 week away from Requiem!! I am super excited to know the series of this wonderful series, which occupies a special place in my list of books for being the first dystopia I read. In order to make the countdown more entertaining I decided to spend the last 7 waiting days updating the blog with news, reviews and quotes from Delirium series. Hope you enjoy!!

For those who do not know yet,  FOX Network has decided to make a pilot episode for Delirium, so we will soon whatch this fantastic story in the small screen and...they already have the main characters!
