REVIEW:Just Breathe

Sinopsis: Los opuestos se atraen en esta divertida, conmovedora y deliciosamente romántica novela en la que  Dee la hippie conoce al millonario empresario Ethan - y calmado  su mundo se pone patas arriba ...

Dee Nichols espíritu libre y profesora de yog. Pero ella no está interesada en el dinero o posesiones o pensar demasiado en el futuro. Después de sobrevivir a un accidente de coche terrible, ella está feliz de estar respirando.

Entonces Dee conoce a Ethan Roxburgh en una fiesta de Navidad. Como jefe de Roxburgh Holdings, y un habitual de las páginas de sociedad, que es lo contrario de lo que Dee quiere en su vida. Hasta que en un trabajo de modelo para un comercial de yoga en televisión, Dee pasa a ser una celebridad de la noche a la mañana...

Esto la empuja hacia un nuevo mundo de  negocios y relaciones públicas (así como de  tacones altos y escotes) Dee está fuera de su zona de confort y de pronto Ethan es perfecto - como un mentor. O sería, si no estuviera tan condenadamente atraída por él. Después de todo, nunca miraría dos veces a una bajita instructora de yoga , propensa a los accidentes.

Entonces Ethan mira dos veces - y la vida se vuelve dulce y sexy.

MI PERSONAJE FAVORITO: Dee representa lo que me gustaría ser alguna día, una persona que hace ejercicio regularmente y le gusta, que tiene claras sus prioridades y que vive en el presente sin preocuparse por el futuro.

Opinión: Es un libro entretenido para pasar la tarde. La acción importante tarda un poco en aparecer pero toda la parte del yoga me mantuvo entretenida. Y después de leerlo me sentía tan culpable por estar en tan mala forma física que decidí darle una oportunidad al yoga y ¡tengo agujetas por todo el cuerpo!

Normalmente no le cojo manía a ningún personaje, pero la madre de Dee me ponía de los nervios. Es controladora y quiere vivir su vida a través de sus hijas.

Es una novela divertida que trata el tema de la superación personal, el amor, la confianza. El que este ambientado en Australia me encantó porque es uno de los países que más me gustaría visitar.

En general el libro me gustó pero para una lectura rápida, no es nada del otro mundo, aunque los personajes están muy bien desarrollados.

Thrust into a whole new world of business and PR (as well as high-heels and plunging necklines) Dee is out of her comfort zone and suddenly Ethan is perfect – as a mentor. Or would be, if she wasn't so damn attracted to him. After all, he'd never look twice at a short, accident-prone yoga instructor with market-stall couture …

Then Ethan does look twice - and life gets sweet and sexy as hell.

MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER: Dee is what I would like to be some day, a person who exercises regularly and likes it, who has clear priorities and lives in the present without worrying about the future.

Opinion: It is an entertaining book for an afternoon. The main action takes a while to appear but all the yoga part kept me entertained. And after reading it I felt so guilty for being in such bad physical shape that I decided to give yoga a try and I have aches all over my body!

Normally, I don´t hate any character, but Dee ´s mother I got on mynerves. She is controlling and wants to live her life through her ​​daughters.

It's a fun novel that addresses the issue of personal growth, love, trust. I loved that it is set in Australia because it is one of the countries that I would like to visit.

Overall, I liked the book but for a quick read, it's nothing fancy, but the characters are very well developed.

Los 10 libros con las mejoras portadas que te hayas leído.

- Crónica de una muerte anunciada (Gabriel Garcia Marquez)

Me encanta el espejo y los colores verdes, es una portada simple pero preciosa.
- Esmeralda (Kerstin Gier)

Adoro Londres, así que la portada simplemente me encantó.

- Pretty Dark Nothing (Heather L. Reid)

Me encanta lo misteriosa que es la portada y la composición de los colores que además pegan perfectamente con la historia.

-A Demon Made Me Do It (Penelope King)

El fondo blanco con la  chica en el bosque son muy misteriosos pero a la vez bonito. Lo que tampoco le encontré mucha relación con lo que pasa en el libro.

-Álbum de Boda (Nora Roberts)

Es una portada tan femenina y delicada que simplemente la adoro. Y pega mucho con la temática de la historia.

- Latidos (Anna Godbersen)

La verdad es que me compré este libro hace 5 años en Irlanda porque me gustaba la portada, así que por fuerza tenía que estar aquí. Me encantan los vestidos de estilo victoriano.

-Maravilloso Desastre (Jamie McGuire)

Esta  portada es muy bonita, pero la verdad es que nunca he entendido porque hay una mariposa, siendo que Travis llama a Abby palomita. De verdad que no le encuentro la relación, pero aún eso me gusta.

- Amante al fin (J.R.Ward)

Es una portada tan sexy y sale Qhuinn así que desde que la vi me encantó. Se ve tan caliente que invita a hacer cosas malas jaj

- Despierta (Beth Revis)

La mezcla de colores azules, morados y rosas y la imagen como del cuento de La Bella Durmiente son preciosas. Además de que va muy acorde con la sinopsis del libro.

-Betrayal (Mayandree Michel)

Adoro la portada, el vestido, los colores, el sitio. Es una portada tan místiga, mitológica y poderosa. Es una de mis favoritas.

I love the mirror and green colors, it is a simple but beautiful cover.

- Emerald Green (Kerstin Gier)
I love London so I just simply adored the cover.

- Pretty Dark Nothing (Heather L. Reid)

I love how mysterious is the cover and the composition of the colors that suit perfectly well with the story.

-Demonblood (Penelope King)

The white background with the girl in the forest are very mysterious, yet beautiful. But I don´t find any relation between the cover and to what happens in the book.

-Vision in White (Nora Roberts)

It's a cover so feminine and delicate than I simply adore it. And it suits perfectly  with the theme of the story.

- The Luxe (Anna Godbersen)

The truth is that I bought this book in Ireland five years ago because I liked the cover, so it was bound to be here. I love the Victorian dresses.

-Beautiful Disaster (Jamie McGuire)

This cover is very nice, but the truth is that I've never understood why there is a butterfly, being called Abby Travis Pidgeon. I really cannot find the link, but still I like the cover.

- Lover at Last (J.R.Ward)

It's a very sexy cover because Qhuinn appears in it, so since I saw I loved it.

- Across the Universe (Beth Revis)

The mixture of blue, purpl, pink and the image as if it was the story of Sleeping Beauty are beautiful. Plus it is very consistent with the synopsis of the book.

-Betrayal (Mayandree Michel)

I love the cover, the dress, the colours, the background. It's a mystical, mythological and powerful cover as. It's one of my favourites.

   Hoy vamos con un BBM de una película de los 90 que puede que conozcáis, 10 Razones para Odiarte. Y si no conocéis la película puede que sí conozcáis al actor Heath Ledger, quién tras actuar en películas tan conocidas como El Caballero Oscuro, Brokeback Mountain, Destino de Caballero o El Secreto de los Hermanos Grimm, murió en 2008 con tan solo 28 años.

   Así que vamos a hablar de Patrick Verona, el personaje que interpreta Heath Ledger. Se trata de un chico al que todo el mundo tiene 'miedo' en su instituto, con una reputación un poco turbia y de aspecto problemático al que Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) paga para que salga con la hermana de la chica que le gusta a él. Hablamos de una comedia romántica americana, así que lo habréis adivinado, Patrick termina por enamorarse de Kat (Julia Stiles). 

   
   Pero para mí, lo mejor del personaje son sus excentricidades, algunas de las cuales utiliza para conseguir a Kat. Sí, Patrick es básicamente el típico rebelde que termina cambiando cuando se enamora; vamos, lo que todas hemos terminado queriendo en algún momento después de ver películas como esta. Pero es además un personaje muy divertido al que podemos volver cuando queramos ver a un joven Heath Ledger.

   Today we have a BBM from a 90s movie that you might know, 10 Things I Hate About You. If you don't know it you might know the actor Heath Ledger, who after starring in many famous movies such as The Dark Knight, Brokeback Mountain, A Knight's Tale or The Brothers Grimm, died in 2008, being only 28 years old.

   So we are going to talk about Patrick Verona, the character that Heath Ledger plays. He is a 'scary' boy, feared by everyone at high school with a bad reputation and a threatening appearance who is paid by a new boy, Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), to go out with his crush' sister. We are talking about an American romantic comedy, so yes, you guessed it, Patrick ends up in love with the girl. 
   But what I love most about the character are his eccentricities, some of which he uses to get Kat (Julia Stiles). So Patrick is basically the typical rebel who changes for love; that is, what we all have at some point wanted after watching this kind of movies. But this is also a very fun character that we can turn to anytime we want to enjoy a young Heath Ledger.
