My Review:
I've been in somewhat of a book funk lately and the truth is that it's been a nightmare to find a book that can get me out of it. Simply everything I've read was just not captivating enough. I was definitely hoping that Dirty Dealers will help because Tia Louise is one of my favorite authors. So when I started the book, my expectations were set pretty high. And I was definitely not disappointed. Logan and Kass are two intriguing and captivating characters that will make you fall in love with them from the very beginning.
Despite the somewhat slow start of the book (that might be simply because of my book funk :D ), the story is fast paced and intriguing, suspenseful and romantic, a story of second chances and undying love. And let's not forget the holy HOTNESS that is Logan his panty-melting gaze and body that will make you salivate after him. The chemistry between him and Kass is so scorching that it singes everything around them every time they come together.
But let's forget about about Logan for a while and focus on Kass. Life has beaten her down so many times but every time she finds the strength to get up and continue fighting for those she loves. Even if that means sentencing herself to hell. She is so strong and determined but with every strike she looses a little bit of faith and the final blow is when she nearly loses Logan for the second time. That nearly destroys her and throws her in deep despair. Or at least the ones she loves are in danger again and she finds the strength to continue fighting for them. Even if that could cost her her life this time. She is definitely a character I admire and I would venture to say that she, by herself, is worth reading the book for :)
So if you are looking for a great suspenseful read with an incredible romantic story and a hot as hell BBF and a heroine as strong as steel, you should definitely check Dirty Dealers. You won't be disappointed :D
