MY REVIEW: 

 Kaden is the second book in The Recherché series but it can be read as a standalone and it is what I did because I haven´t read Thor.

The narrative of this book is addictive, the story is mainly told from Kaden´s POV and his character is as charming, sexy and drop dead gorgeous as you would expect from a high prized male escort.  This book is not your regular romance mainly because there is no love. Kaden is lust, sex, temptation and hotness in a devilish yet sweet package. I am not usually into books that have no romance at all but Kaden was the exception mainly because the only character who may have been Kaden´s love interest wasn´t a match for him from my point of view.

Even though is an erotic book I didn´t feel like it was too much sex, it had the perfect balance between sexy times and regular life. I simply loved this book because it made me have a good time while reading it and because Kaden is one of the best developed male characters I have read in quite some time.

I really recommend this book, it is highly entertaining and Kaden is addiction as its purest form.

I woke the next morning with a faint pounding in the back of my head. Scrubbing at my face, I glanced down to find myself twisted in the sheets. I sighed and stretched, feeling sore in a wide, new array of places. As my fingers traced circles in the softness of the fabric, the fog lifted and my less than moral actions from last night combusted in my memory. I slowly turned to see the handsome stranger from last night soundly asleep beside me. Well, at least I didn’t have rose-tinted glasses. The man was definitely what my sister, Taylor, would call “fine.” He had a perfectly chiseled face, muscles that were rock hard and well sculpted, and big hands. And I knew their size matched up with another large member on his divine body...

I tore the sheet off me and sat up in bed, startled to find I was wearing nothing but my birthday suit. Here I was in all my naked glory. I looked around for my clothing. To my horror, I saw my dress was on the floor in multiple pieces. Jenson had apparently shredded it. In a frantic panic, I found a large New England Red Bulls jersey and tossed it over my head. I couldn’t wear just this jersey, even though it was longer than that flimsy fabric I was wearing last night.

I needed to get out of there. I quickly went to the bathroom to make sure I didn’t look like a morning after nightmare. I found a new toothbrush tucked in a drawer.

I finished my teeth and ran a brush through my hair, thinking it looked especially wild this morning. I grabbed a lock and pulled it across my nose, taking a whiff and expecting to find the scent of stale cigarette smoke.

Instead, I was hit with a wave of heady arousal.

Notes of leather and spice filled my nostrils. Ice-blue eyes. A reckless mop of dark hair.

Oh God.

“What did I do?” I squeaked before tracing my lips with my fingertips, feeling slightly bruised from too much kissing. I didn't think I'd had that much to drink, but apparently the shots and the music and everything about him had gone to my head. Snapshots of last night flooded me. I didn't do things like this, impersonal sex was never on my agenda, what was I thinking?

“Shit.”

I ran out of there like a bat out of hell, with nothing on but a soccer jersey.

Damn. Shit. Fuck.

MY REVIEW:

I was surprised by this book as a whole. When I first read the synopsis I thought this book was going to go into a certain direction but it didn´t and I do love when a book surprises me.

Bending Bethany starts with a bang and follows a well paced story line taht for my liking could have been more developed because the missing star in my review comes from shortage of words. I felt like there could be more story in this book. Don´t get me wrong, the book is wonderfully narrated and there are no missing plot spot on the story is just that I was waiting for me and it left me hanging.

Both main characters Bethany and Jenson are really lovable and with just a couple of lines the author has been able to describe them so you don´t even have to doubt about their looks or personalities.

 Even though this is my first book by Aria Cole, I can say undoubtedly that it won´t be the last. Bending Bethany is the perfect scape book that you can read either before bed, at the beach or in a cozy day at home.

My Review:

I´ve loved Layla Hagen´s stories since I first read a book by her which was Lost in Us. I´ve been lucky enough to appreciate her evolution as a writer through her beautiful stories.  In her #Lost series I was amazed by her storytelling charm, in Withering Hope the characters´complexity, depth and above all the feelings both characters made me feel. And finally with The Bennett Family series, the utterly addictive dialogues and banter between all the sets of characters kept me on my toes the whole time.

Your Forever Love is the third instalment on The Bennett Family series and is the only one I have read from this series but I am planning on fixing it as soon as possible because I so want to stay immersed in this amazing world.  I´ve always been spellbound by the city of San Francisco since I first visited it 6 years ago and this book has make me want to go back there.

The chemistry between Eric and Pippa is out of the charts and I am simply in love with both of them. Pippa is independent, brave, caring and protective of her family, and even though she has been hurt before she is willing to give love a second chance. However, Eric who has also been hurt is more reticent to open not just his heart but also his daughter´s heart to new chances at love. At the same time, all the secondary characters have their own true personalities that make you want to keep reading all the books just to discover how each of their stories will end.

All in all, I am enamored with Layla Hagen´s books, they are the perfect mix of beloved characters, believable stories, catching dialogues and beautiful settings. I would undoubtedly recommend this book to everyone who loves a good witty and funny romance with scorching scenes that will leave you wanting for more Bennett family adventures.

The house was cold, empty, and full of memories as I walked from room to room. I stood at the end of my bed and stared, willing my wife to return to us.
