My Review:
I love Kendall Ryan's writing style so of course I was really excited to get my hands on Sexy Stranger. And I can honestly say that I really enjoyed the story. It is mostly lighthearted with just a pinch of heartbreak. And it is so hot that it will leave you breathless :D
I think Charlotte and Luke are one of my favorite Kendall Ryan couples. Each one of them lived through a different kind of emotional trauma and they are still trying to overcome the aftermath of it. But within each other they find a safe haven from the real world. Unfortunately, their safe bubble can only last so long and when the time comes for Charlotte to leave, none of them is willing to say the words necessary for them to stay together. So that's where the heartbreak comes in. Thankfully, both of them pull their heads out of the sand and manage to salvage their relationship but not without a little bit of drama of course :D But don't think that that makes the book a story of heartbreak because that's not the case. For the most part, the story is lighthearted and quite a lot of fun. Charlotte and Luke's banter is just hilarious and it is filled with the chemistry between the two of them :) Which makes the book quite hot of course :D
As a whole, this is mostly a lighthearted story, perfect for reading while lounging at the beach or simply relaxing at home. I would venture to say that it is a perfect summer read and considering it is not too long, it can be read in one sitting. Just enough time to get that delicious golden glow from the sun ;)
