About Natasha Preston.

Natasha Preston, was born in England, and has lived in the small towns and villages ever since. At school I drifted through, achieving average grades. She fell into administration and receptionist jobs, thinking that she couldn't really do anything else.

In 2010 she stumbled into writing completely by accident. She was searching the 'app store' and came across Wattpad, an amateur writing site. For the first few months she just read, but then decided to type some of the ideas she had floating around my head. Natasha is glad she did because she absolutely love writing.

Writing gives her an escape, and Wattpad gave her the self-confidence she lacked.

Title: Save Me
Author: Natasha Preston
Synopsis: Tegan Pennells used to care about everything: family, friends, boys, school, and music. But then her dad died and that stopped. She doesn’t care about her relationship with her mum and sister. She doesn’t care that she’s pushed away most of her friends. She doesn’t care that she lost her virginity to her friend’s brother in the backseat of his car. She doesn’t care that she uses men, or what people think about her friends with benefits agreement with Kai, a guy she met in a bar. Tegan doesn’t care about the man that received her father’s heart. And she doesn’t want to care about that man’s son. She doesn’t want to care about anything ever again.

Review:

Natasha Preston always surprise me with her books. Save Me wasn´t remotely similar to what my imagination had conjured after reading the synopsis. This book will blow you away with all the surprises and twists the plot has.

The main characters are likeable though I has some problems with Teagan because I really don´t share or understand her way of coping with the loss of a loved one. I kind of thought she was a brat who had 2 hot, sweet guys after her. Later on I started to like her more because I started to see her with the eyes of Kai and Lucas. Those guys are wonderful! I want a Kai for me!

I have to say that in the very beginning I was team Lucas though when the story started to evolved bad boy Kai started to win my heart. The story had a decent story pace, not really fast or slow till the end when I kind of thought everything happened in a rush.

Save Me is a book about coping with the worst moments of life and how people can either save you or drown you.

Blog Tour: Second Chance by Natasha Preston

By: Natasha Preston
Release Date: June 10, 2014
Genre: New Adult/Romance
Synopsis
Everyone deserves a second chance at happiness, and three years after Chloe Holland's boyfriend dies in a bomb attack in London, she's ready to move on. That is until the one person she can see her moving forward with is the worst person she could have ever imagined.
Logan Scott was the one Chloe turned to when Jace died, but she never imagined that becoming close to him would leave her with the biggest dilemma she could ever face. He makes her question everything. She makes him a better person. They push the limit of right and wrong.
Unfortunately, Chloe and Logan are perfect for each other.

My Review:
I was a bit wary about this book when I first read the synopsis because Logan falls in love with Chloe who was his little brother´s girlfriend. But Natasha made me feel the doubts, the remorse and the hope of falling in love when and whom you least expect. The what if... I can have a second chance at love?
I felt in love with Logan almost from the very beginning, it took me sometime to like Chloe, but it was mainly because I was jealous that she had the chance to being with Logan. I have a serious jealousy problem with my book boyfriends xD

The writing is as always sublime, I felt every feeling. The dual POV gave the story a point of realism, we get to see both sides. And there is a clear distinction in the tone and style depending on which character is speaking.
I am used to read Natasha´s books and I was aware that everyhting was going kind of too smothly for her style but I really wasn´t expecting that twist at the end. It left me spechless.

Second Chance is a story about the struggles of falling in love after the loss of a loved one. It is a book about the hope of believing again. And most importantly, it is a story about getting a second chance in life.

Excerpt
Against everything my body was screaming for, I put my hands on his chest and pushed him away. My fingers gripped his shirt as I put some distance between us, not really wanting to let go. I wanted to cry. He could crush me in a second. Not even Jace could do that. He looked devastated as he let go of my arms. Fear gripped me by the throat. I wasn't just scared of how I felt about Logan; I was outright terrified. "I need… time. I don't know." Not time, that wouldn't help. I didn't know what I needed, but I definitely needed something. He stroked my cheek and my heart stuttered. "No more time." "Why are you doing this, Logan?" "Why?" His eyes lost their tenderness. "Seriously, why? How blind can you be? I fucking love you, Chloe!"
