My Review:

I love T. Gephart's books and especially her rom-coms. She makes me laugh like no one else. And #1 Muse was not an exception.  Though there are some more serious and a little bit heartbreaking moments, I would still classify the book as a rom-com. From the very first chapter, I had tears of laughter in my eyes and that practically didn't change until the end of the book. I loved the characters and especially Claire. She was a hoot and probably one of the craziest characters I've encountered. Definitely a close second after Tia. There is just no way beating Tia :D And it doesn't hurt that Nick is such a hottie :D

As I already said, I loved Nick and Claire. Though both of them are crazy, Nick is more on the normal side :D Claire is another story altogether. I honestly have no idea where she comes up with such crazy ideas :D And as Nick says in the book, he has no idea what will come out of her mouth. In a way, that's what makes them work :) They are definitely made for each other. Though there are few bumps on the road, in the end things just work out :)

In addition to Nick and Claire, I loved revisiting with old favorites. I mean, who would mind getting a cameo appearance from the Larson brothers :D But on top of that, I loved the other secondary characters as well. Luke and Scully are just as hilarious as Claire herself. And to be honest, I would really love to get my hands on Scully's story. Let's hope Tina is planning on writing it at some point :D

In a few words, this was a super funny and entertaining read and I hotly recommend it. So don't waste any time and pick up your copy now.

I hated early mornings.

The darkness outside, the puff of visible breath that expelled from my lungs every time I opened my mouth—it was like starring in my own horror movie. My lack of sleep, contributing to the carnage.

And let’s not even talk about what obscene hour I had to wake up so I could shower and make myself look human. There was no way was I stepping off the plane in a pair of yoga pants and a messy hair bun when Ryan freaking York would be on the other side of the journey. As he slowly closed the door behind him and moved his eyes to look through the room, taking it in, she watched them get wide. They dropped to her and his amusement was clear. Not only radiating from his gaze but twitching his lips. Another unusual—and unacceptable—reaction. He thought this was funny. She hoped like fuck she had the opportunity to prove him wrong. She crossed her arms on her chest and slightly put out a foot, like she was about to start tapping her toe. In the wrap dress she wore, she knew this opened the overlap, not exposing anything, but the promise for him was impossible to resist. His attention dropped to her legs. “In the playrooms,” she began with a snap, and his gaze cut to hers, “I want eye contact. Unless otherwise instructed, you should not only feel free to look me directly in the eyes, if I’m in your line of sight or I’m not giving you something that your body’s natural reaction would make it difficult to meet my gaze, I require it.” She stood there staring as he did nothing but dip his chin in acknowledgment. WOW, just WOW. 

This book has left me speechless, in a very positive way. If I could, I would give it more than 5 stars.

Since I've read my first KA book I've been obsessed with her series, and I can assure you that I'm now addicted also to the Honey series!

I started this book with high expectation because, you know, Kristen Ashley.... But also conscious that lately I couldn't seem to appreciate BDSM books. 

Well, I shouldn't have worried.

Kristen Ashley's unique style, her amazing way with words, and also her way to capture all the nuances of the BDSM world sucked me in and didn't let me go until the end of this book!

I loved The Deep End so so much!

The detailed scenes at the Honey club, with so much raw passion that I felt like I could combust. The sexual tension between Amélie and Olivier was outstanding, I read every sex scene avidly, as if I was  there, a spectator to their encounters. Kristen Ashley did an amazing job describing the relationship between Amélie and Olivier, the balance between them as Amélie The Minstress/Olivier the Alpha-Sub and as Leigh/Olly.

I fell in love with both Amélie and Olivier, and I felt like I really got to know them by the end of the book. I felt for Olivier when he struggled against some internal doubts about his relationship with Amélie, I cried with Amélie when she had to face some difficulties, and not only because of Olivier.

And I can't forget that, as always, there were amazing side characters that made this book even better, if possible. I want to do a special shout out to Aryas, who reminded me of another special KA man from a previous series (Smith 💙).

So, my only suggestion is: go grab this book, immediately, and fall in love with Amélie, Oliver and all the Honey world. You won't regret it.
