My Review:
I loved the first part in this series, so the moment I got
my hands on the second book, I immediately jumped into it. And I can honestly
say that it was even more intriguing that the first part. It was quite
interesting to get to know the characters better and follow their story, the
ups and downs in their relationship and the narrow path they walk between being
together and living separate lives.
Crey and Holly are definitely intriguing characters. Each one of them is strong willed and sometimes stubborn. They both had to fight for everything they have and they are definitely not used to explaining their actions to anyone else. Well, all that results in some pretty intense situations and quite often fights. Especially considering that they are both trying to figure out the feelings they have for each other.
I have to confess that there were moments where I was quite cross with Holly and her decisions, especially at the end of this second book of the series. So be prepared, there is a huge cliffie here andyour Kindle can be harmed. And also be prepared to read one-handed from time to time. There are some very intense and hot scenes that will increase the temperature quite a lot ;)
So yes, if you are looking for an intriguing and hot read, you definitely found it. But keep in mind that this is part of a series and the books have to be read in order :) In my case, I can't wait to get my hands on the last book in the series ;)
