About
the Author
I’m a stay-at-home mom with four young children and
one extremely supportive husband. We’ve been married for nine years and reside
in Metro Detroit, Michigan.
I've dreamed of writing romance novels since I was
little. After having baby #4, who may or may not have been fathered by
Christian Grey, I decided it was time to pursue my dreams.
When I'm not volunteering at the schools of my
children, running to various appointments, enjoying time with my friends and my
book club, dating my husband, or avoiding cleaning my house, I'm writing!
I love music and believe that books and music can't
exist without the other. My goal is for you to read more than a good book, but
for you to have an experience!

Review:
Amazing book with a lot of romance,
suspense and heartbreak that will leave you glued to your seat until you
finish.
Fading Away is the fourth book in
J.M. Witt’s series Anchored Hearts and continues the story of Cal and Jane (the
book starts where Hiding Away left off).
Even though Cassidy and James are my
favorite characters from this series, I do have a soft spot for Cal and Jane.
Cal’s protectiveness of the people he loves is shown numerous times in this
book. His support of Jane when she is dealing with the aftermath of her past is
endearing and shows his immense love for her. On the other side, Jane still has
difficulties revealing all the secrets from her past and her recent trauma
makes it even more difficult for her. But she is determined and strong and
knows that the only way she can overcome her nightmares, is with Cal by her
side. He helps her break the walls she build around her heart one romantic
gesture at a time. Of course, most of
his romantic gestures end with some pretty hot scenes. There is a scene which
includes cinnamon honey, bed and some licking, and trust me, my panties needed
changing after that ;)
The book has also quite a few
heartbreaking moments that left tears in my eyes. Each one of the characters
experiences grief after the loss of a beloved family member and that sorrow
brings Jane and Cal closer together but we also get to see how destructive it
is for Cassidy and James. In addition to that heartache, they still have to
deal with Derek (Jane’s ex-boyfriend) and the additional problems he brings to
their lives. Of course, Dan doesn’t allow them to forget about him. He is still
out for revenge and to destroy all of their lives.
This new book by author J.M. Witt is
written really well and manages to intertwine an amazingly romantic love story
with some extremely hot scenes and an intriguing suspense story line. I loved
the book and it kept me glued to my seat until I finished.
In a few words, the book is great and
if you haven’t read this series, you shouldn’t waste any more time. You have to
start it NOW. In my case I can’t wait to read the next book and see what will
happen with Cassidy and James. So I hope it comes out soon ;)
