So let’s start our warming-up week for
the Indie-Credible Event with Jen Wylie with a special BBM that we will call Not
so Bad Boys Monday.
One of the male
protagonists of The Broken Ones series is Prince, a mysterious
young boy that Aro meets among other slaves. And when we say mysterious, we
mean it because we don’t even know his name. The only thing that we get from
his at the beginning is that he is a prince (a little bit arrogant one at
first) and thus he is not very much liked by the rest of the group. He could
totally fit our bad boys section if we just take the Prince from the first
chapters but as the story develops we get to see a much more nice and sweet
Prince that seeks to help Aro at anytime.
So he actually is the
character in which we most notice a change; he goes from being an
individualistic, kind of selfish loner, to becoming family to Aro and one of
the most important people in her life.
He is described by Aro
as a tall and very handsome guy and since the two of them really get to be very
close with the passing of time it is easy to think that their relationship can
give us some surprises in the future.
Kei is one of
the main male characters of The Broken
Ones series He has golden eyes, light brown hair, tanned skin and is really
handsome. He is a young Fey who establishes a deep friendship with Aro. Though
they are supposedly just friends, I would really like to see them together.
This is Aro´s reaction when she sees Kei properly for the first
time: “ She looked him over, seeing him for the first time in sunlight.
A blush crept up her cheeks as she did. He turned out to be handsomer than
she'd imagined with the sunlight in his hair and him smiling at her. A flush
spread across his face as well as they continued to stare at each other
silently. She looked away quickly, suddenly embarrassed.”
Kei is protective, a bit
shy with people because he is not accustomed of being with people. His “dark”
side is what worries him the most, thought through the books he improves his
control on it. . He is really sweet, caring and funny. He would do
anything for Aro because she has became the most important person in his life.
I´m definitely Team Kei
and I can´t wait to read the third book because I´m sure the prophecy will make
thing really interesting between Kei and Aro.
So now that you know a
bit more about Prince and Kei, go and buy Broken Aro, I can assure you you´ll
live an adventurous trip full of twists and turns. Enjoy it!
Vamos
so Bad Boys Monday.
los libros mejora su control sobre ello. Kei es muy dulce, cariñoso y divertido;
Aro.
